Overview

• Participate actively in relevant NUHS Way projects, Quality Improvement/ IT projects and initiatives. Constantly review within assigned areas, systems and process initiatives to achieve safer, better, faster and cheaper care for the customers.

• Review and update policies and procedures as needed.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Swim Coach & Centre Manager to lead our coaching team, maintain high teaching standards, oversee daily centre operations, and support the continued growth of our programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Coaching & Programme Delivery

• Conduct high-quality swim lessons for babies, toddlers, children and families.
• Ensure classes are conducted safely and professionally.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents.
• Maintain excellent customer service and client experience.
• Uphold the centre's child-led and family-centred teaching philosophy.

Coach Training & Leadership

• Mentor, train and develop junior coaches.
• Conduct regular coach observations and feedback sessions.
• Support onboarding and training of new instructors.
• Ensure consistency in teaching standards, lesson delivery and safety practices.
• Assist in developing training resources, SOPs and programme improvements.

Centre Management

• Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth running of classes.
• Manage scheduling, manpower planning and class allocations.
• Handle parent enquiries, feedback and service recovery situations.
• Work closely with the operations and marketing teams to support enrolment and retention efforts.
• Monitor programme quality, attendance and client satisfaction.

Business Growth & Performance

• Support trial-to-enrolment conversions and customer retention initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Contribute ideas for programme development and centre growth.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of swim coaching experience.
• Experience teaching babies, toddlers and children preferred.
• Previous experience supervising, mentoring or training coaches is highly advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for teaching and developing others.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
• Comfortable working weekends.
• Relevant swimming and coaching certifications preferred.

Job Description:

• Maintain and enhance IT policies, processes and controls to ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk management.
• Lead end-to-end IT audits and regulatory inspections, including response coordination and remediation tracking.
• Assess control gaps against MAS guidelines and monitor corrective actions with stakeholders.
• Provide guidance on IT risk matters and update management on audit and regulatory developments.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in IT governance, audit, technology risk or IT compliance.
• Strong understanding of MAS TRM and relevant IT governance frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001).
• Experience in managing IT audits and engaging regulators.

Job Scope

• Assist Restaurant Manager in daily operations and take charge in their absence.
• Greet guests, assign seating, and ensure excellent customer service.
• Address food-related complaints promptly with the Chef.
• Conduct team briefings before each service period.
• Build and maintain loyal customer relationships and database.
• Ensure cleanliness, upkeep of equipment, and proper restaurant setup.
• Monitor inventory levels and participate in monthly stocktakes.
