Job Description

1. Lab & Equipment Management

• Prepare & Maintain: Set up equipment (Micro:bit, sensors, circuits) for lessons and ensure all devices (3D printers, laser cutters, VR systems) are in good working order.

• Inventory Control: Conduct regular stock checks, manage the checklist of peripherals, and handle the recording and condemnation of damaged or missing items.

• Procurement Support: Assist the STEM Programme Committee by consolidating purchase requests from staff and students into a cohesive procurement plan.

2. Classroom & Student Support

• Instructional Assistance: Support teachers and trainers during lessons by helping students with projects and experiments.

• Workshop Facilitation: (Preferred) Conduct workshops or training sessions for students and accompany them on learning journeys or to STEM competitions as a chaperone.

• Supervision: Oversee students during Makerspace activities to ensure the safe and proper use of tools and equipment.

3. Programme Development & Safety

• Safety & Procedures: Establish and enforce safety protocols for the Makerspace, managing access and training requirements for users.

• Curriculum Support: Collaborate with teachers to integrate Makerspace resources into the curriculum and support the school's STEM goals.

• Cleanliness: Ensure both the JOULES Smart Centre and Makerspace are kept clean, safe, and organized at all times.

Professional Development

• Participate in training sessions (conducted by vendors or colleagues) to stay updated on STEM tools and trends

Qualification Skill & Experience

• A polytechnic diploma, preferably in STEM-related disciplines with 3 years of relevant experience; those without a diploma and with relevant experience may also apply.
• Knowledge of processes, machines, fabricating techniques, and materials within a prototyping or manufacturing environment would be useful.

Responsibilities:
Consumer promotion: 
Main lead on Consumer Promotion (“CP”) appeal process, which includes:
i. Launch/ announcement of appeal process
ii. Raising the appeal manually and the system appeal Handling enquiries and re-issuance requests related to the appeal
i. Change of payment mode for CP (Cheque/ bank transfer/ next of kin account/ voucher type)
ii. Any other exception handling 
 
Contest Report tracking and monitoring: 
To assist in the preparation of the contest proposal paper, which includes:
i. Assist the manager to review, revise, and finalise contest mechanics via engagement in discussion with the Agency Team 
ii. Vetting and Clearance of T&C with legal and compliance 
iii. Info memo draft and upload of T&C to one portal
iv. Refresh of contest paper
v. Closing report for contest
 
Generating a contest and production report, which includes:
Create clear, concise, and visually appealing reports using MS Excel and/or other available system reporting platforms, and circulate them to the intended recipients.

Finance Executive (AP)
Salary: $2,500 - $3,500
Working Days: Monday – Friday
Working Hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable functions: vendor creation, invoice entry, and timely supplier payments.
• Verify supporting documents and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Review and process staff claims.
• Prepare GST returns and perform analysis of AP balances for month-end closing and reporting.
• Manage office fixed assets: commissioning new assets, monthly depreciation runs, and asset write-offs.
• Reconcile Fixed Assets Register with General Ledger and resolve discrepancies identified during annual asset sighting.

Requirements

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Trade Finance Operations Officer to join our Operations team. The role involves end-to-end processing of Import & Export Bills and Trade Finance transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Key Responsibilities

This role is responsible for strengthening and modernizing enterprise cryptographic capabilities across on-premises HSMs, Cloud KMS platforms, and AWS CloudHSM environments. The candidate will lead the assessment, design, implementation, and governance of secure cryptographic systems aligned to global regulatory standards.
