Key Responsibilities:
• Review and analyze all project-related drawings and documentation to ensure compliance with project scope and contractual terms.
• Prepare and submit Monthly Progress Claims to the client with full supporting documents; ensure timely approval and payment.
• Track and manage scope changes, coordinating closely with the construction team to prepare accurate cost variation proposals (VOS); follow up with clients for timely approvals.
• Handle client-requested rework, including coordinating with site teams, preparing cost impact assessments, and submitting formal proposals for approval.
• Maintain detailed tracking of invoices, POs, and payments related to progress claims, variation orders, manpower supply, and equipment rentals.
• Support commercial planning and budgeting efforts; provide input to project cost reports and forecasts.
• Ensure proper documentation of all cost-related communications and approvals for audit and dispute resolution purposes.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal departments to ensure smooth execution of commercial and contractual matters.
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical or M&E project execution with strong commercial and cost control exposure.
• Strong understanding of project documentation, variation orders, progress claims, and client-side coordination.
• Familiar with Singapore construction practices and payment claim procedures under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act (SOPA).
Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and project documentation systems.
