• Promote continuous improvement within the operation team.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and facility maintenance.

Quality

• Uphold quality compliance across the team, ensuring adherence to SOPs and procedures.
• Participate in audits and inspections.
• Ensure timely batch record review and submission to QA.
• Liaise with the Quality Control Department regarding samples, tests, and resolving inconsistencies.

Budget

• Support the manager in planning and controlling budget performance, identifying cost needs for materials and human resources.
• Share production objectives, verify cost trends against the budget, analyze deviations, and propose corrective actions.

Consumables

• Maintain adequate levels of consumables by defining minimum orders and coordinating with the warehouse.
• Collaborate with Planner/Buyer/procurement for sourcing and purchasing plant consumables and accessories.

Communication

• Communicate company policies, objectives, and results appropriately.
• Conduct on-the-job training for Technicians, incorporating cGMP, SOPs, and safety procedures.
• Handle grievances, counsel, and conduct team appraisals.

Safety

• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations by all operations employees and visitors.
• Promote awareness of safety and risk associated with chemicals, equipment, and processes in the area.

How will you get here?

Education

• Degree/Diploma in Science/Pharmaceutical/Engineering or relevant field, or equivalent experience.

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience managing people within the pharmaceutical industry. Experience in aseptic processing is a plus.
• For Diploma candidates, at least 6 years’ experience in managing people is required.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Proven knowledge of cGMP requirements in Biologics/Pharmaceutical plants.
• Strong process understanding and a continuous improvement approach.
• Leadership skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts.

Role Responsibilities

• Develop and make presentations of prospective client’s request for proposal responses, provide webinar / conference call / in-person presentations to prospects & existing clients, and general sales support services.
• Research, analyse and interpret data on marketplace trends, competitors, customers, suppliers, and changes in the Energy markets, particularly in regard to renewable energy and sustainability.
• Cheek by jowl with existing regulatory and government energy related policies that often affect the energy and carbon markets.
• Participate in the development of microgrids, virtual power plant, EV charging infrastructure and including consulting and other services for clients.
• He/She will work with clients on specific projects and activities, including ongoing communications, project administration and presentation of renewable energy, energy storage, recommendations, and assessments.
• Pursuing new sales leads and development of proposals to global and local clients based on their listed and implied needs. Proposals may be in response to a formal request for proposal or offered per discussions with prospective clients, our an upsell to an existing client.
• Experience dealing with renewable energy IPP/EPC, developers, utilities, and large-scale power producers.
• Understand the growth of renewable and their impact of carbon emissions.
• Contribution to product strategies.
• Maintain company’s clients’ relations i.e., including arranging and participating in meetings with clients, follow ups, and other arrangements.
• Screens, processes, copy and attend to inquires received through VFT’s website and other mediums relative to business development/product enquiry.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or another related field.
• 5 to 8 years or more in strategy, technical sales or consulting, preferably in battery/ energy storage/renewable energy industries.
• Experience in project development, business development in B2B market – an advantage.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
