• Supervisory or senior-level experience in airfreight import customer service or operations

• Strong understanding of airfreight import workflows, documentation, and customs requirements

• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Hands-on experience with CargoWise system is preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new MICE opportunities via cold calling, social selling, networking, and industry outreach; represent the company at local and international trade shows to build pipeline and drive revenue from new industries and niche markets

• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, PCOs, event agencies, and brand partners, acting as a trusted advisor for repeat business and evolving event needs

• Prepare tailored proposals and presentations, conduct venue site inspections, and present solutions aligned to client requirements

• Negotiate pricing and contracts to balance profitability with client satisfaction

• Coordinate closely with operations and event teams to ensure smooth execution and accurate handover of requirements

• Track market trends, competitor activity, and MICE industry developments while maintaining accurate CRM records, pipelines, and client data

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the MICE, venue, or hospitality industry.
• Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and client management skills.
• Creative, self-motivated, and passionate about the events industry.
