Group Tech & Operations – Credit Administration and Control

• Credit Administration and Control provide back-office credit processing and credit administration support to credit / business units of the Bank. 
• Reporting to the Division Head of Credit Administration and Control, you will assist in overseeing the smooth operation of the department effecting operations risk assurance & control, credit compliance, security documentation as well as credit cum collateral processing and smooth delivery of projects affecting the department. Apart from monitoring risk controls and ensuring compliance with the Bank's credit policies and statutory provisions, you will be expected to lead and involve in talent development of the team. You will also champion the operation service model, operations risk assurance & control and projects initiatives to constantly seek out improvements for existing and future services and processes to achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the operations risk assurance and control for the division including its counterpart in subsidiaries and overseas branches.
• Lead and manage the processing team which includes credit operations and projects delivery.
• Responsible for the day-to-day operations and projects of Wholesale credit operations as well as processing of legal and security documentation.
• Demonstrates functional and technical expertise required to perform core aspects of the job.
• Able to formulate system and work processes and process improvements for a holistic approach to operational and projects’ requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successfully delivery of systems, work processes, process improvements and projects’ initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline.
• At least 10-12 years’ experience in wholesale and retail lending, credit, treasury and trade operational processes and possesses areas of expertise in wholesale credit operations, regulatory and legal compliance.
• Equip with functional and technical expertise required to perform core aspects of the job, including sound knowledge of lending, credit, treasury and trade financing, regulations, risk and legal guidelines.

1. Placement & Workshop Support

• Manage registration for placement-related workshops, activities, and Care & Career programmes.

2. Key Corporate Management

• Build key corporate partnership relationships, identify employment opportunities for corporates, negotiate and close partnership deals, and keep abreast of current market conditions.

• Conceptualise, develop and manage projects, including project strategy design, stakeholder management, programme structures, systems development and project operations.

• Collaborate with the various academic units in developing courses and training solutions, seek government funding support and engage in employer outreach activities, based on strategic priorities.

• Screen potential partnership deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities.

3. Trainee Enrolment & Application Administration

• Manage and respond to applicant enquiries via Qualtrics, email, and phone.

• Collect and collate required applicant documents including resumes, qualifications, and transcripts.

• Verify trainee eligibility for Additional Course Fee Funding Support (AFS) in the TPGateway system.

4. Lead Management & Outreach Support

5. Reporting & Data Management

• Conduct employment surveys and generate reports for analysis and submission.

• Gather, collate, and update information on trainees’ employment status.

• Provide weekly updates to the placement tracking file to ensure data accuracy and programme visibility.

6. Secretariat & Administrative Support

• Perform day-to-day administrative duties and process general administrative requests.

• Provide secretariat support including notetaking, meeting documentation, and milestone tracking.
