About the Role

The Senior Control Software Engineer (Space Laser Communications) is responsible for design and performance improvements of control systems at Transcelestial, specifically for our space laser communication devices. • Support laser processing experiments and studies as needed, including laser cutting trials and measurements of processed samples.

• Troubleshoot laser-related issues on deployed depaneling machines once proficient.

• Provide customer training, demonstrations, and guidance on process parameters and machine operations once proficient.

• Collaborate with internal design teams and external vendors to develop solutions for unique customer applications once proficient.

• May require up to 5% overseas travel.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering.
