Job Summary

Support QC/QA engineers by inspecting in-process parts, reporting quality issues, and assisting in quality control tasks to ensure production meets standards and continuous improvement goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist QC/QA Engineer with daily quality control tasks and ad-hoc assignments to support production quality
• Inspect in-process parts periodically using micrometers, microscopes, profile projectors, vernier calipers, and gauges to verify dimensional accuracy
• Report out-of-specification dimensions promptly to Quality Engineer and Production Engineer/Operator for corrective action
• Generate quality reports for QC/QA Engineer and help enforce corrective actions on the production floor
• Troubleshoot engineering and quality issues arising during daily production to minimize defects
• Implement and maintain 5S standards in quality control and production areas to ensure workplace organization and safety
• Lead workplace improvement initiatives that enhance company competitiveness and product quality
• Continuously develop individual skills and knowledge to improve quality control effectiveness

• Position: Quality Control Specialist/Assistant
• Location: Sunview - Jurong Working hours: 5 days, Monday to Friday (8.30am to 6.00pm)
• Salary (commensurate on experience): Up to $2600 + AWS + OT + Medical/Dental

Main Responsibilities

• Inspect, test and sample materials or assembled parts or products for defects and
• deviations from specifications
• Observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications and make or order necessary process or assembly adjustments
• Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products and recommend necessary corrective actions
• Discard or reject products, materials and equipment not meeting specifications
• Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics such as number of defective products per day etc.
• Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient and comply with safety standards
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database
• NCR data collections and photos taking

Requirement

• Minimum 1-year relevant experience in quality control
• Minimum ITE above Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
• Basic computer skills is preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse, logistics, or quality-related roles
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility for accuracy
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, with willingness to support overtime when required
