Job Summary

The Academy Training Executive is responsible for overseeing the daily administrative and operational activities of the academy to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The role includes managing training coordination, student administration, compliance documentation, quality assurance (QA) requirements, and supporting regulatory and accreditation standards. The executive will work closely with management, trainers, students, and external stakeholders to maintain high operational and educational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Administration

Manage the academy’s daily administrative and operational activities.

Ensure all training programmes are conducted according to approved schedules and operational procedures.

Customer Service & Communication

Requirements:

Job Summary
Responsible for strengthening and maintaining a consistent Quality Management System across affiliates in the Asian region, while coordinating with global, regional, and local stakeholders to ensure effective implementation and operational alignment.

Key Accountabilities
1)      Design and oversee risk-based GMP/GDP audit programs covering Asian LA (Sales sites and Manufacturing sites) 

2)      Review and approve local SOPs to ensure alignment with PIC/S GMP and Global SOPs.

7)      Ensure effective end-to-end change management across manufacturing, regulatory, and supply chain functions. 

8)      Lead quality issue management, including deviations, complaints, supply impact assessment, and recall risk escalation. 

9)      Operation of the RHQ organization, including setting and managing team policies and objectives; securing and developing resources required for business execution; establishing opportunities for communication with stakeholders; planning and implementing operational improvements; and maintaining and improving the workplace environment.

Qualifications / Required

• Master’s degree in pharmacy, physics, or chemistry. Pharmacist license is preferred.
• Extensive experience in GMP/GDP audits, including CAPA review and effectiveness evaluation. 
• Strong understanding of PIC/S GMP, ICH Q7, ICH Q9, and ICH Q10 and QA operation experience (more than 15 years)

The role includes conducting container unstuffing inspections, monitoring product quality throughout storage and distribution, preparing Arrival Quality Reports (AQR), supporting supplier claims, and working closely with procurement, warehouse, sales, and customers to maintain consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Incoming Container Inspection

·        Attend container unstuffing and conduct quality inspections upon arrival.

·        Check pulp temperature, packaging condition, pallet condition, carton labelling, and overall shipment condition.

·        Inspect fruit for defects such as bruising, decay, soft fruit, dehydration, mechanical damage, mould, sunburn, shrivel, and other quality issues.

·        Verify shipment quality against purchase specifications and supplier agreements.

2. Quality Assurance & Monitoring

·        Monitor product quality during storage and distribution.

·        Conduct routine warehouse quality inspections and stock rotation checks.

·        Recommend sorting, repacking, disposal, or sales strategies based on product condition.

·        Ensure cold chain integrity is maintained throughout handling and storage.

3. AQR (Arrival Quality Report) & Documentation

·        Prepare detailed Arrival Quality Reports (AQR) with inspection findings and photographs.

·        Document quality defects with supporting evidence for internal records and supplier communication.

·        Maintain inspection records and quality databases accurately.

4. Supplier Claims & Customer Support

·        Prepare documentation to support supplier quality claims, including reports, photos, temperature records, invoices, and disposal evidence where required.

·        Coordinate with surveyors, insurers, and suppliers during quality investigations.

·        Support the Sales team by responding to customer quality enquiries and complaints.

5. Wholesale Market & Customer Monitoring

·        Monitor product quality and market acceptance at wholesale markets and key customer locations.

·        Collect market feedback regarding fruit appearance, sizing, colour, eating quality, and shelf life.

·        Provide recommendations to procurement and management based on market observations.

6. Food Safety & Compliance

·        Ensure compliance with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) regulations and company food safety procedures.

·        Maintain proper hygiene and sanitation practices during inspections.

·        Support internal audits and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements

Experience & Skills

·        Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Horticulture, Supply Chain, or related discipline preferred.

·        Good report writing and Microsoft Office skills.

·        Able to work independently and communicate effectively with suppliers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality testing and inspection to ensure product standards are met
• Perform general housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe workplace environment
• Commit to working 12-hour shifts as required to support operational demands
• Complete ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisors promptly and accurately
• Use computer skills to operate Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation
• Apply attention to detail to identify and report quality issues and maintain accurate records

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Completed O-Level or equivalent education
• Experience in administrative tasks to support operational workflows

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance procedures for food processing and export operations.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Food Agency (SFA), HACCP, halal, and food safety regulations.
• Conduct inspections of raw materials, production processes, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain quality documentation, records, and reports.
• Investigate customer complaints and quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to maintain product quality.
• Support internal and external audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train staff on food safety and quality assurance procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma in Biomedical Science, Food Science, Biotechnology, Applied Science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of food safety and quality management systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work independently and communicate effectively with different departments.
• Experience in the food manufacturing or food export industry is an advantage.
