You will use product domain knowledge and sound engineering practices, to perform embedded firmware test activities for Rockwell Automation products.

You are going to lead test strategy, test planning, and test execution activities in multiple projects. You will report to Manager, Embedded Software and based in Singapore working in Hybrid.

Your Responsibilities:

• Act as test lead and create test documentation such as test strategy, test plan, test report.
• Be a mentor and provide technical skills to more junior engineers.
• Understand and translate requirements, design/functional specifications to define test requirements and design test cases.
• Participate in reviews for feature requirements.
• Perform analysis and improvement on the existing test cases.·
• Develop test ware, test script, and build firmware functional tests based on Rockwell guidelines.
• Debug failures, report anomalies. Report progress to managers and escalate issues on time to project or management.
• Perform regression testing whenever necessary.
• Contribute to test KPI activities by leading the continuous improvement activities.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related fields.
• Knowledge and expertise in Test Engineering processes (Agile, continuous integration) and methods for test case design and test coverage optimization.
• Strong knowledge and expertise in test automation methodologies.
• Programming experience in scripting languages is required - Python.
• Strong knowledge and expertise in real-time embedded system/hardware.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are required.
• Lead technical teams and has 5+ years' experience in test engineering especially as a test lead.
• Experience with bug/anomaly tracking and evaluation systems.

The Regulatory Reporting team builds and operates Airwallex's automated compliance reporting pipeline across 10+ jurisdictions globally. Beyond data pipelines, we build the internal tools that compliance and operations teams use daily — regulatory calendars, submission dashboards, AI-powered review interfaces, and data investigation workbenches. Good tooling directly reduces compliance risk and operational burden.

What you'll do

You will own the frontend layer of Airwallex's regulatory reporting platform — building the interfaces that compliance analysts, finance teams, and operations staff use to review, validate, and manage regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain internal web applications for regulatory report review, submission tracking, and compliance calendar management.

• Design and implement data-heavy UI components: tables, charts, and drill-down views for financial data at scale.

• Build AI-assisted review interfaces — workbenches where compliance teams interact with LLM agents for regulatory interpretation and gap analysis.

• Collaborate with backend engineers on API design and data contracts; own the BFF (Backend-for-Frontend) layer where needed.

• Contribute to shared component libraries and design system conventions used across Core Banking tooling.

• Implement client-side data validation and error handling appropriate for high-stakes compliance workflows.

Who you are

Minimum qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend development experience.

• Proficient in React and TypeScript; comfortable with modern state management patterns.

• Experience building complex, data-intensive web applications — tables, filters, charts, drill-down views.

• Strong understanding of API integration (REST, GraphQL).

• Detail-oriented about UI correctness and data presentation accuracy.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience building internal tooling or operational dashboards in a fintech or data-heavy domain.

• Familiarity with data visualisation libraries (e.g., Recharts, D3, AG Grid).

• Experience with Node.js/BFF patterns for backend-for-frontend service layers.

a) Translate data requirements from business users into technical specifications.

c) Develop and maintain automated test coverage for data pipelines to prevent bugs

and defects from reaching production.

d) Perform data reconciliation and integrity testing to validate end-to-end data flows

e) Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by coordinating with stakeholders to

validate that data products and pipelines meet business requirements.

Operations, Governance and Continuous Improvement

a) Conduct day-to-day monitoring of databases and ETL systems, including capacity

Experience and Skills Needed

Qualifications and Experience

a) Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering,

Information Technology, or related disciplines.

c) Experience in designing, building, and maintaining batch and real-time data

pipelines.

d) Experience with orchestration frameworks such as Airflow and Azure Data
