Minimum Qualifications / Experience

• PhD ≥12 yrs, or Master’s ≥15 yrs, of relevant experience in
  Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related field,

• Experience in CMP Process Development

• Deep expertise in CMP chemistry, physics, and integration

• Publications/patents and strong record of technical contributions.

Must-Have Technical Skills

• In‑depth expertise in CMP fundamentals, including pad–slurry–wafer interactions, slurry chemistry at a mechanistic level, and pattern density/layout effects

• Strong understanding of multiple CMP process types (e.g., metal, dielectric, barrier/hardmask, poly‑Si/Si CMP)

• Extensive hands‑on experience with advanced 300 mm CMP OEM platforms, including driving hardware capability, throughput, and cost improvements

• Proven expertise in statistical process control (SPC), data analysis, and qualification methodologies

• Ability to independently drive complex technical execution, resolve yield and defectivity issues, and influence cross‑functional teams

JOB SCOPE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Familiar with RO, demin, mixed bed, ultra-pure, neutralization, chemical preciptation (including HF, heavy metal, backgrind etc.), biological treatment etc. and specialty processes.
• Develop process design packages: heat & mass balances; PFDs; P&IDs; process calculations.
• Perform equipment sizing and prepare specification (pumps, blowers, air compressors, vessels, tanks) and materials selection; define instrumentation and control philosophy with cause-and-effect matrices.
• Liaise with OEMs/vendors to validate technologies and recommend best-fit solutions based on performance, compliance, schedule, and total cost of ownership (CAPEX+OPEX); drive technical clarifications and value engineering.
• Prepare and review equipment lists, line lists, valve list and load lists as required.
• Prepare and check process datasheets for RFQs; evaluate vendor proposals for compliance with technical specs, codes, and regulations; lead technical clarifications.
• Prepare technical proposal according to client's RFQs. Provide solution to clarifications and prepare cost estimation.
• Plan and participate in HAZOP and related reviews, coordinate action close-out.
• Produce/peer-review submission documentation; support project FAT/SAT, plant start-up, performance testing, process optimization, and handover.
• Compile/author ITP/IP and IOM manuals; interface with multidisciplinary teams (C&S, MEICA, controls) and construction/site teams.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering (or equivalent)
• Standards & codes: Familiar with relevant international standards/codes and onshore/offshore practices
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Working knowledge of AFT Fathom (hydraulic analysis) and AutoCAD Plant 3D (P&ID) is an advantage

WORK EXPERIENCES

• Process Engineer: More than 2 years in a similar scope, preferably in Oil & Gas, Power, or Water/Wastewater
• Senior Process Engineer: More than 5 years with demonstrated leadership in design reviews, HAZOP facilitation/close-out, vendor management and mentoring junior engineers.

What you will be working on:

• To sustain and improve all equipment performance indices to meet operations goals

• Perform shift duties based on rotation systems to support production
• Optimize equipment uptime/ reliability thru scheduled & recovery maintenance. 
• Control equipment performance indices to meet BBS goals
• Comply to ISO standards and Quality systems of the company
• Forecast/ establish stock levels of spares and consumables to meet manufacturing capacity within allocated budget
• Establish and maintain preventive maintenance OI to standardize equipment practice
• Train/ mentor AEs to through OJT and continually upgrade their technical skills to cope with technological changes
• Recommend improvement to enhance capabilities, reliabilities or cost saving
• Participate in CIT team/ task force to optimize equipment performance and COO
• Start-up new equipment to support production ramp, from facilities hook-up, vendor start-up, to acceptance of equipment.
• Documentation of Corrective Action and Best-Known Methods for equipment to allow more efficient troubleshooting
• Ensure good housekeeping and safety practices in the work area.

More about you:

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering Diploma in Mechatronics/ Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering with at least 4 years semiconductor equipment maintenance experience.
• 1-3 years relevant experience innthe semiconductor manufacturing environment. Fresh Degree holders are welcome to apply.

Requirements
