You will be responsible for the technical design and implementation of the code both from a DBS param and incorporating into the overall Kernel solutions across the business units we support

Responsibilities:

- Perform parameterization and customization in Avaloq Core Banking Platform.

- Analyse business requirements and design / propose software solutions.

- Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable code to ensure best possible performance and quality.

- Provide technical expertise and support for internal and external stakeholders.

- Mentor and coach junior Avaloq developers.

- Assist project / programme managers in project planning & project strategies.

Requirements:

- At least least 5 years of development experience in Avaloq Core Banking Platform.

- Participation in multiple Avaloq Core Banking Platform implementations in various business / technical streams.

- Ability to develop high level software designs and solutions.

- Excellent analytical skills and systematic approach to problem solving.

- Ability to articulate complex technical issues to business stakeholders.

- Good understanding of core business processes and products in the private banking industry.

Teacher and Curriculum Specialist (Enrichment Centre)

Subject: English language / Maths / Sciences (Preferably can teach at least two subjects)
Location: Bukit Timah Plaza, Century Square, Oasis Terraces, Parkway Centre, Thomson Plaza (Discuss the location during the interview but you will need to travel to multiple Centres when needed) 
Working days and time: Tuesday to Saturdays [Must be comfortable working 4 weekdays (2 early weekdays 10am-7pm, 2 late weekdays 12.30pm-9.30pm) and 1 weekend (8am-6pm)]
Salary: $3500 - $5000

Job Description

• Deliver lessons of up to 10 – 12 classes per week. 
• Display classroom delivery skills aligned to centre’s suggested methodology and housestyle.
• Effectively utilise teaching materials to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that will enhance students’ learning experience.
• Mark and grade students’ assignments with value-added feedback and ensure they are returned to students by the next lesson.
• Perform required administrative responsibilities efficiently (attendance taking, checking students’ files etc)•
• Able to arrange “catch-ups” for students who missed any lessons when there are no available “make-up” classes for them to join.
• Attempt to ensure that students are consistently making reasonable progress in the programme; every student matters. 
• Connect to students’ parents through regular written and/or verbal feedback to parents on the progress of the students as well as solutions/suggestions for parents on how they can partner with you to help the child at home.
• Work together with the customer service team to provide all stakeholders with a positive customer experience and strive to minimise the withdrawal rate of classes assigned.
• Attend level meetings/subject sharing sessions organised by the Company when required, to keep abreast of curriculum expectations.
• Attend observation sessions and/or co-teaching sessions as arranged by the Company for training purposes. 
• Participate in level meetings/subject-sharing sessions when required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree holder and above or equivalent
• Familiar with the latest MOE syllabus
• Comfortable to use Zoom and online portal
• 2 to 3 years of teaching experience
• Able to commit long-term (at least one full academic year)
