Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and enhancement of construction methodologies, execution plans, and work sequencing strategies for tender submissions and project implementation.
• Assess tender documents, engineering drawings, technical specifications, and geotechnical reports to identify potential construction challenges, limitations, and opportunities.
• Formulate practical, safe, and economically viable construction approaches that are technically feasible and efficiently executable.
• Prepare method statements, construction phasing plans, temporary works schemes, and technical proposal documentation.

• Provide technical and method engineering support during project execution and assist in resolving site-related construction issues.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in marine works, MRT projects, deep excavation, geotechnical engineering, or large-scale infrastructure developments.
• Strong background in construction methodology development, project planning, and site execution.
• Demonstrated ability to design practical, buildable, and cost-efficient construction solutions.
• Well-versed in construction sequencing, temporary works design, marine logistics coordination, equipment utilization planning, and productivity optimization techniques.
• Prior involvement in projects with agencies such as LTA, HDB, MPA, PSA, or other public sector organizations will be advantageous.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and communication skills.

Site/Project Engineer (Civil Engineering)

We are seeking a results-driven Project Engineer (Civil Engineering) to support the planning, coordination, execution, and successful delivery of construction projects.

• S$3,300-S$4,000 basic + bonus

• 6 days, Mon-Sat, 8:30AM-5:30PM

• Onsite (construction site)

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily construction activities to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, work schedules, and progress reports.

• Monitor site operations, manpower deployment, subcontractor performance, and material usage.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.

• Identify project risks, resolve technical and site issues promptly, and implement corrective actions when necessary.

• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, construction regulations, building codes, and safety requirements.

• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor work quality to meet project standards and client expectations.

• Prepare project documentation, progress claims, variation orders, and site reports.

• Attend project meetings and provide updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• 1 year of relevant experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager within the construction industry.

 Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate closely with Main Contractor, Sub-contractors, Consultants, and Client on all site-related matters

• Attend daily site meetings (M&E coordination, Architectural coordination) and ad-hoc meetings as required

• Ensure all instructions, updates, and information from Client / Consultant / Main Contractor are communicated clearly to all project team members

• Attend and participate in daily site walks to identify issues and ensure smooth execution of works

• Monitor daily site activities and track work progress, reporting status and issues to the Project Manager (PM)

• Monitor sub-contractors’ work progress to ensure alignment with the approved project schedule

• Identify, track, and report abortive works to the PM with supporting details

• Update as-built drawings or installation changes where required

• Liaise with RTO and relevant parties to arrange and attend inspections

• Arrange team members for Site Inspection Checklist (SIC) activities

• Ensure all inspection records and SIC documents are properly completed, maintained, and filed

• Ensure all parties are working using the latest approved revision drawings

• Maintain proper documentation and systematic filing of: SIC records, Drawings and revisions, Site correspondence and reports

• Ensure accurate tracking of site changes and updates

• Ensure all site personnel strictly comply with WSOH regulations and in-house safety rules and procedures

• Highlight and escalate safety non-compliance issues to the PM where necessary

• Monitor Bill of Quantities (BQ) and material availability on sit

• Coordinate with PM, System team, and Sub-contractors on material procurement to ensure steady material flow for installation works

• Prevent delays caused by material shortages

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering / Construction / Building Services or equivalent

• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant site coordination or supervision experience

• Strong experience in site coordination with main contractors and sub-contractors

• Familiar with construction drawings, revisions, and site documentation control

• Knowledge of WSOH regulations and site safety practices

• Experience in arranging and managing site inspections and quality records

• Ability to monitor progress against project schedules and identify risks

• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple site activities concurrently

• Proficient in basic documentation tools (e.g. MS Office)
