• Ensure consistency and compliance with brand guidelines across all communication channels, maintaining the integrity of the company's brand identity.
• Manage the inventory and sourcing of corporate gifts, optimizing cost-efficiency and quality standards.
• Demonstrate expertise in all aspects of event management, from strategic planning and budgeting to seamless execution and post-event evaluation.
• Organize and oversee small to large-scale events, orchestrating logistics and resources.
• Establish and maintain relationships with events vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and managing deliverables to ensure event success.
• Provide administrative and operational support as needed, contributing to the smooth functioning of the department.
• Produce high-quality print and digital collaterals, including articles and promotional materials, to support marketing and communication initiatives.
• Develop and manage a diverse range of networking and corporate events, fostering connections and enhancing the company's reputation.
• Supporting internal communications newsletters.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mass / Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
• At least 2 years' experience in roles related to communication and/or events coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling messages for diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, including social media management, content management systems, and analytics tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
• Commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
• Preferred self-starter, energetic, responsible, team player.

You will report to the Hougang lead and Team Lead to:

• Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders for outreach and volunteering opportunities
• Follow-up on volunteer enquiries, screen, assess, match and orientate volunteers to the services of the organisation
• Facilitate & maintain good working relationships with stakeholders and community partners
• Implement effective volunteer management system including recruitment, training, deployment, reward, retention and recognition
• Evaluate all aspects of volunteer programmes to ensure effectiveness and implement changes as appropriate
• Develop strategy and operationalise plans to market the services and volunteering opportunities of the organisation to community and corporate partners
• Monitor digital platforms on information and updates on SG Cares VC and partners
• Prepare quarterly Progress reports

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in mass communication, marketing, human resources, social studies or equivalent; relevant field will be desired and/or
• At least 1 – 2 years of working experiences in relevant fields / sector or has interest in community relations work
• Understand community relations work & driven by a passion for the community
• Enjoy working in a hybrid environment
• Good written and verbal communications – no fear of people engagement at all
• Strong stakeholder management and people skills to work collaboratively with volunteers from varying organisations and companies
• Able to multi-task, have high attention to detail and work independently with minimum supervision as well as respecting teamwork and dynamics
• Empathetic and Observant to people/situations, being able to read the room and navigate partnerships accordingly
• Keen and a good flair in digital communications tools
• Proficient in basic computer applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
