About the Role

This is a dual-channel commercial role responsible for running both the sales and supply sides of Carousell Mobile Malaysia's online operations. You will handle all inbound buyer chats to convert sales, and all inbound supplier chats via Qontak to secure supply collection — then log every conversion in detail into Google Sheets for the operations team to process.

You own the front-end of both channels. Once a supply collection is confirmed, you hand off to the operations team for physical pickup and fulfilment. What You Will Do

Sales — Buyer Chat Handling & Conversion

• Manage all inbound buyer chats across online platforms (Carousell, Lazada, and others)

• Convert supplier leads into confirmed supply collection appointments

• Coordinate collection handoff to the operations team once supplier is confirmed

Data Entry & Google Sheets Logging

• Log every sales conversion in detail into the designated Google Sheets tracker

• Log every supply collection confirmation with full details — device info, seller contact, collection date, and status

The team works with colleagues across the globe and provides exposure to interesting topics and projects related to our responsibilities. We cover key areas such as accounts payable, receivable, tax, and invoicing areas to name a few. In close collaboration with our controlling department, we provide a strong foundation for finance excellence. Our team consists of a range of professionals, junior and senior, which contribute to everyday operational success. The Finance and Accounting department is an essential pillar of the company; therefore, its members represent a valuable and respectable team that always strives for excellence.

What you will do​

​Contract Terms:

We are seeking a suitably qualified Finance & Admin to provide accounting and administrative support to the organisation. This position is offered on a1-year contract basis, with an option to renew subject to business requirements and satisfactory performance.

• Process staff claims and verify supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Perform reconciliation of vendor invoices and follow up on discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Post invoices into the accounting system accurately and on a timely basis.
• Generate and issue invoices in accordance with established procedures and timelines.
• Prepare payment runs and the relevant supporting documentation for review and processing.
• Maintain proper filing and records management for accounting and administrative documents.

• Take care of the documentation management (archiving: invoices, contracts, and other documents, etc.)

• Provide general administrative support, including mail collection and coordination of courier services.
• Undertake any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Company from time to time.

What we are looking for​

​Requirements​

• Diploma, LCCI, NITEC, or equivalent qualification inAccounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience inaccounting, accounts administration, or a similar support function.
• Basic knowledge of invoice processing, staff claims,reconciliation, and payment preparation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications,particularly Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently, follow established procedures, and meet assigned deadlines.
• Meticulous, organised, and responsible, with a strong attention to detail.

• First hand experience with SAP FI
• Previous experience in global company and work in international team
