Ops Manager

a. Job Description

• Oversee the delivery of IT services, ensuring they meet established SLAs and service quality standards.

• Handle escalations and major incidents, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders. Investigate and escalate lapses or complaints relating to the Service Desk Engineers to the EDX team.

• Leads the team to perform service recovery in the event of issues.

• Manage daily manpower resourcing by overseeing both the Service Desk team and a pool of buffer Service Desk engineers to cover planned leaves/urgent leave/ medical leave.

• Mentor, provide guidance and support to the Service Desk team.

• Lead and develop the service desk team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

• Ensure the team knows how to use the provided ESM tool (e.g.ServiceNow) effectively for ticket management and service delivery.

• Ensure the entire team is familiar with and kept up-to-date on the service desk processes and workflow.

• Identify and implement improvements along with updating of documentation for service desk processes and procedures.

• Foster a customer-centric culture within the team, emphasising excellent customer service.

• Attends regular meeting (weekly and monthly) with EDX Team and prepare weekly and monthly reports.

• Suggest and implement service improvement plans to enhance service delivery and employee satisfaction.

• Provide suggestions to the EDX team on what to update in the IT ServiceDesk playbook, ensuring it is comprehensive and current.

• Stay relevant with industry trends and best practices, integrating them into the service delivery strategy.

• Adhere to ITIL processes and frameworks, ensuring best practices in IT service management.

b. Education

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

c. Certifications

• ITIL 4 Foundation Certification

• ITIL 4 Intermediate / Expert preferred

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar will be an added advantage.

d. Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of minimally end user computing devices, M365applications, network, endpoint protection and Video Conferencing/ AV solutions will be an advantage

• Proficiency in using ESM tools such as ServiceNow.

e. Experience

• Prior experience in a service delivery or IT management role within a corporate environment.

• Strong background in managing and leading IT Service Desk operations and teams for at least 3 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure architectures across on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Conduct advanced penetration testing, red teaming, and vulnerability assessments on applications, networks, and systems.
• Review and harden system configurations, identity & access management, and network segmentation models.
• Develop threat models and define security architecture blueprints aligned with enterprise risk frameworks.
• Provide expert guidance on remediation of vulnerabilities and coordinate with system owners and developers.
• Integrate security into the SDLC and DevSecOps pipelines; recommend secure coding and deployment practices.
• Support incident response teams in identifying root causes and developing post-incident improvements.
• Evaluate and select appropriate security tools, frameworks, and technologies to strengthen enterprise defense.
• Conduct technical security reviews for third-party solutions and new technologies.
• Mentor security engineers and penetration testers; establish security testing methodologies and standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including 3+ years in security architecture and penetration testing.
• Proven hands-on expertise in:
  Penetration testing tools: Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Nessus, Kali Linux, etc.
  Security frameworks: NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, MITRE ATT&CK.
  Scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  Cloud security controls for AWS / Azure / GCP.
• Deep understanding of network security, application security, encryption, IAM, and threat modeling.
• Strong communication and documentation skills for presenting technical findings to stakeholders.
• Certification:
  Mandatory: OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional)
  Preferred: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or AWS Security Specialty

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in security architecture consulting, red teaming, or offensive security assessments.
• Exposure to container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native application protection.
• Knowledge of SIEM/SOAR integration and automation workflows.
• Experience in designing Zero Trust and Defense-in-Depth architectures.

System Engineer

Engineers can preferably be degree holders who have at least 2 years’ experience if they do not do supervisory roles. Diploma holders will be given engineer.

At least 1 to 2 years working experience in assisting the senior engineer and able to work independently on their daily tasks.

1. Minimally need to have CCNA or networking equivalent qualification.

2. Have basic understanding of virtualization such as VMs

3. Have basic understanding on cybersecurity technologies, firewalls, antivirus etc.

4. Assist the senior engineer in carrying out daily tasks such as deploying laptops for exercises.

5. Assists users in preparing for cyber exercises, setup OS Windows login etc.

6. Need to take on routine O&S functions, basic system health checks on servers and storage.

7. Doing system backups, check server status and configure IPs and VLANs for training. Doing OS patching.

Role: CloudEngineer (GCC)

KeyResponsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of Government Cloud (GCC) Microsoft Azure infrastructure, ensuring stability, performance, and security.
• Lead the implementation of Azure cloud projects from planning and design through deployment and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with application, infrastructure, and network teams to support deployments, troubleshoot issues, and align on architectural decisions.
• Design, configure, and manage Azure Virtual Networks and Subnets, enabling secure and scalable cloud environments.
• Configure and maintain Network Security Groups (NSG) to enforce traffic control policies.
• Deploy, configure, and support Azure Load Balancers (LB) for high availability and optimal performance.
• Implement and manage Web Application Firewall (WAF) policies to protect web applications from threats and vulnerabilities.
• Configure and administer Azure DNS for name resolution and service discovery.
• Set up and maintain route tables and virtual network peerings to support hybrid, multi-region, and cross-subscription architectures.

RequiredQualifications:

• Certified in Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) is mandatory.
• Certified in Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) will be a plus.

• 2–3 years of experience working with Azure infrastructure in GCC 1.0 and 2.0 environment.
