We are seeking a technically strong, hands-on Business Intelligence ("BI") & Data Manager to lead the design, development, and optimization of our enterprise data platform. This role combines deep technical expertise in Microsoft Fabric, SAP CDS Views, MES, Salesforce, and Power BI / Power Automate with pragmatic leadership in data governance, delivery, and team management. The primary focus is on data engineering.

You will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, integrating IT and OT systems, and delivering trusted, high-performance analytics that drive operational efficiency, production visibility, and business performance.

Data Engineering

• Design, build and optimize scalable data platforms using Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Factory, Warehouse, Real-Time Analytics)
• Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and streaming data
• Optimize data storage, transformation, and query performance
• Implement best practices in partitioning, indexing, and cost optimization

BI Development & Analytics Delivery

• Lead development of dashboards and reporting solutions using SQL, Power BI/Query/Automate and writing DAX formulas
• Ability to write Python for data manipulation and advanced analytics.
• Implement reusable semantic models and standardized datasets
• Enable self-service analytics while maintaining performance and governance
• Translate business requirements into technical data solutions

Data Modeling & Architecture

• Design scalable data models (star schema, lakehouse, or hybrid approaches)
• Develop and manage reusable data products and semantic layers
• Support cross-functional analytics across operations, supply chain, finance, HR and sales

Data Governance, Security & Quality

• Implement enterprise data governance frameworks including:
• Data quality monitoring and validation pipelines
• Data lineage and cataloging
• Master data management (MDM) practices
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, SOX where applicable)
• Enforce data standards, naming conventions, and access controls

BAU & Reliability

• Implement CI/CD pipelines for BI and data solutions
• Monitor pipelines with logging, alerting, and observability tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and data issues
• Responsible for cost optimization in cloud environments

Technical Leadership & Delivery Ownership

• Lead a team of BI developers and data engineers with hands-on involvement
• Own end-to-end delivery of data solutions (design → build → deploy → optimize)
• Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices
• Collaborate with IT, OT, IT business analysts and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics or related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, BI, or analytics roles; in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Real-Time Analytics) and Azure cloud platforms.
• Proven experience with: SAP CDS Views; preferably with MES and Salesforce data integration and reporting experience in manufacturing environments.
• Advanced SQL and strong data modeling skills
• Hands-on experience with Power Query, Automate and Power BI
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capability
• Experience with Agile delivery practice
• Prior experience managing vendors or external partners preferred

Key Responsibilities

As Communications Manager, you will be the strategic storyteller and guardian of Filtrona’s voice: internally and externally. You will shape how employees, customers, media, and the public perceive our company. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution: from crafting global narratives and building engagement programs to driving visibility for our leadership and innovation.

You will lead the full communications lifecycle: from strategy to storytelling to measurement. This role works closely with senior leaders, marketing, commercial teams, HR, and site heads across regions.

1. Internal Communications Strategy & Delivery

• Develop and execute a global internal communication strategy that fosters connection, alignment, and pride across Filtrona sites.
• Partner with HR and Site Leaders to amplify employee stories, celebrate milestones, and reinforce our culture of excellence and collaboration.
• Lead storytelling initiatives highlighting site achievements, sustainability progress, and innovation milestones.
• Build an internal content calendar (intranet, newsletters, internal videos, webinars, Teams) to keep employees informed and inspired.
• Design and deliver campaigns around Company values, safety, customer focus, and sustainability and other topics as needed.
• Support the leadership communication cadence (e.g., CEO updates, quarterly all-hands, site visits, internal videos, townhall).
• Collaborate with site, functional teams and CEO to align local and global narratives, ensuring tone and message consistency.
• Track and measure the effectiveness of global communication initiatives and recommend improvements.

2. External Communications & Brand Visibility

• Develop and implement an integrated external communication strategy to strengthen Filtrona’s corporate reputation and brand equity.
• Create compelling content for press releases, customer success stories, industry thought leadership, and social media channels.
• Manage media relations: cultivate relationships with trade and business media; draft and distribute press materials.
• Lead crisis communication planning and execution to ensure clear, coordinated responses.
• Collaborate with commercial and sustainability teams to highlight Filtrona’s innovation, partnerships, and ESG achievements.
• Oversee the corporate website, LinkedIn page, and digital channels, ensuring content is current, engaging, and on-brand.
• Manage external agencies (PR, creative, digital) to deliver impactful campaigns and measurable results.
• Support coordinate Filtrona’s participation in industry events, tradeshows and sponsorships to reinforce visibility and leadership positioning.

3. Strategic Communications Support

• Provide communication counsel and messaging support to executives and functional leaders.
• Develop key messages, speeches, briefing packs, and presentations for leadership and external events.
• Support customer communications (e.g., product announcements, sustainability commitments, joint releases) with a focus on marketing.
• Ensure consistent brand narrative and visual identity across all touchpoints.
• Drive communications KPIs and reporting: awareness, reach, engagement, and reputation.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Marketing or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Corporate or Marketing Communications, ideally in a multinational B2B environment.
• Proven ability to lead both internal and external communications strategies.
• Exceptional storytelling and writing skills, with an ability to translate technical topics into engaging narratives.
• Past experience in managing agencies and managing budgets.
• Strong relationship builder with experience working across global teams and senior stakeholders.
• High comfort level with multi-channel content creation (press, digital, video, internal comms).

The Senior Manager, Pricing & Product Management is a critical driver of Filtrona’s commercial performance and one of the core levers of value creation for the global business. This elevated role expands the remit beyond pricing management into global pricing strategy, product lifecycle stewardship, digital enablement and portfolio-driven commercial optimisation.

The role leads the global pricing governance framework, accelerates quotation turnaround to best-in-class standards, integrates product servicing index (PSI) and customer segmentation into price logic, and anchors pricing as a strategic capability within Filtrona. Beyond pricing, the role brings product insight into margin optimisation, portfolio competitiveness and NPI readiness, partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, NPI teams, Supply Chain and Innovation.

Key Responsibilities
1. Pricing Strategy & Governance

• Lead the global governance for all pricing activities, including new pricing requests, annual price reviews, cost pass-through, discount structures, trade terms and margin control.
• Ensure pricing decisions deliver targeted margins across TLAs/product families while maintaining competitive benchmarks aligned to customer segmentation.
• Strengthen global governance through integration of PSI, cost-to-serve logic, customer segmentation and product family-linked premium pricing.
• Drive continuous improvement through win/loss tracking, price realization analysis and margin variance monitoring.

2. Digitalisation, Automation & Pricing Systems (CPQ, SAP)  

• Oversee the global usage of the pricing portal (CPQ), ensuring digitised workflows, automated approvals, aligned costing inputs and strong governance.
• Lead SAP × CPQ integration to achieve <48-hour quotation turnaround, including dummy RM articles for fast quoting, exception pricing rules, margin governance controls and monitoring of manual overrides.  
• CPT Automation in SAP: Implement automated CPT calculation, margin checks and customer alerts for below-threshold performance.
• Peer Pricing & CPQ Add-On: Develop methodology to adjust historical peer prices for market price evolution and embed the logic into CPQ, supported by a BI tool for sales teams.
• Drive digital enablement of pricing through automation of cost inputs, volume brackets, rate cards, scenario modelling and error-proofing.
• Migrate the Master Price List from Excel to SAP, establishing a standardised price list structure and building the link between CPQ quote closure and SAP records.

3. Product & Portfolio Commercial Management

• Work closely with Innovation and Sales to ensure pricing supports product lifecycle priorities, competitiveness, margin targets and customer value propositions.
• Provide portfolio insights on product margin drift, cost evolution, competitiveness trends and commercial performance across global markets.
• Ensure NPI readiness by integrating pricing logic, cost assumptions, sample protocols, PSI factors and CPQ configuration before product launch.
• Own the commercial governance for samples, including pricing of sample requests, sample tracking, NPI samples and lead-time standards.

4. Commercial Analytics, Predictive Modelling & BI

• Champion advanced analytics, predictive modelling and BI dashboards to support data-driven pricing and portfolio decisions.
• Build analytical frameworks for PSI-weighted pricing, peer pricing adjustments, auto-calculated price recommendations and margin alerts.
• Create modelling frameworks, spot-order pricing formulas, changeover cost allocation and wastage cost structures.
• Lead pricing business cases, scenario modelling and financial justification discussions with Finance, Sales and the ELT.

5. Commercial Partnering & Stakeholder Leadership

• Partner closely with Sales, Finance, Product, Operations, Innovation, Supply chain, NPI to align pricing and product-related decisions with commercial strategy, portfolio priorities and financial targets.      
• Support key tenders with pricing strategy, peer benchmarks, commercial storytelling and internal governance.
• Communicate pricing logic, policies, approvals and portfolio insights clearly to internal teams and ensure strong regional adoption through training and engagement.

Qualifications & Education Requirements

• Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Engineering or related field.
• 13–15 years’ experience in commercial finance, pricing, product or portfolio strategy (B2B industrial or chemicals preferred).
• Demonstrated experience leading pricing strategy, pricing operations and/or product management at scale.      
• Strong analytical and modelling capability; expert in Excel, proficient in PowerPoint and BI tools.
