The role of the BMS Engineer provides 1st and 2nd level technical assistance such as hardware/operating system/software/database troubleshooting and patch management, hardware spares preparation and management, as well as hardware obsolescence management.
Job Scope
The job scope of the Baseload Maintenance Staff is as below.
- Conduct reviews and feedback on the maintenance
- Manage ad-hoc maintenance job
- Support on SPF exercise
- Server / SAN / network hardware troubleshooting and replacement
- Operating system / software troubleshooting
- Hardware spares preparation and management
- Hardware obsolescence management
- Support SPF regular system audit
Requirements
The job and experience requirements of BMS Engineer are as follows:
- Diploma or Degree holders in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Has minimum 1-2 years’ experience in mission critical systems and preferably 2-3 years’ experience in hardware installation and deployment.
- Has minimum 1 year of Computer System engineering (System configuration, Network system, and System backup) knowledge.
Shift Work
During weekdays from Monday to Friday. Duty BMS Engineer will cover either Day 1 or Day 2 or Night duty depending on schedule.
Shift Timing
Day1 0830 hrs to 1430 hrs
Day2 1430 hrs to 2030 hrs
Night 2030 hrs to 0830 hrs
During weekends: Saturday and Sunday. Duty BMS engineer will cover either Day or Night shift on Sat or Sunday.
