Responsibilities:

• Spearhead strategic client acquisition initiatives and cultivate enduring partnerships with high-value corporate clients to entrench and drive sustainable revenue growth focusing on trade along China corridor. 
• Originate and pitch structured bespoke financial solutions by proactively identifying business opportunities and orchestrating cross-functional collaboration for seamless execution. 
• Expand the institutional client base through advanced market intelligence, leveraging industry networks and the bank’s regional footprint. 
• Consistently surpass individual and team profitability benchmarks through meticulous account planning and performance optimization. 
• Partner with internal product specialists to deliver integrated financial solutions, enhancing client value and maximizing ancillary income streams. 
• Lead comprehensive credit and marketing engagements, including the structuring of complex deposit and financing arrangements tailored to client-specific needs. 
• Design and implement sophisticated trade finance and credit facilities, ensuring alignment with client objectives and risk appetite. 
• Conduct in-depth credit assessments and maintain active engagement with credit risk units to facilitate timely and sound credit decisions. 
• Oversee portfolio performance through rigorous monitoring frameworks, ensuring asset quality and early identification of emerging risks. 
• Uphold stringent compliance with internal governance standards and external regulatory frameworks across all client interactions. 
• Develop and deliver high-impact client proposals, credit memoranda, and financial models to support strategic decision-making and deal structuring. 
• Maintain a forward-looking perspective on market dynamics, regulatory shifts, and competitive positioning to inform client strategy and product innovation. 
• Facilitate end-to-end client onboarding and transaction execution, ensuring operational excellence and client satisfaction. 
• Establish and nurture executive-level relationships within client organizations to influence strategic direction and foster long-term engagement. 
• Identify and pursue opportunities for strategic alliances, co-investments, and joint ventures with multinational clients. 
• Provide comprehensive reporting and analytics on portfolio health, deal pipeline, and business development initiatives to senior management.

Requirements:

• At least 12 years of relevant experience in Corporate / Investment Bank. Strong Trade Finance experience is a requirement.
• Strong relationship and reach to senior management in corporates. 
• Proven origination and execution track record in corporate deals across ASEAN.
• Credit and marketing corporate finance experience will be an advantage 
• Regional exposure and ability to navigate cross-border teams, regulatory environments, and local business nuances.
• Good relationships and access to corporates in Singapore and across ASEAN (relationships with international and Chinese corporates will be an advantage).

Responsibilities

• Drive cash and deposit base and push utilization for Portfolio Clients mainly in Transaction Banking
• Provide fundamental and effective support to Relationship Managers (RMs) covering all phases of client relationship building and account management.
• Ensure timely execution of clients’ transactions and liaison with various internal stakeholders to resolve any issues or queries.
• Assist RMs in daily maintenance of accounts and operational matters relating to clients’ deposit accounts, loans and/or trade facilities. This includes following up on clients’ instructions and to facilitate loan disbursement and rollover matters.
• Perform KYC (customer due diligence) for new-to-bank client onboardings and/or annual periodic reviews in adherence to compliance regulations and internal policies.
• Participate in projects, lead and conduct client calls independently on Bank’s documentary requirements.
• Act as a point of contact for client inquiries and request; help resolve client issues and escalate when necessary.
• Contribute to client’s process and service improvement initiatives to ensuring a smooth client experience.
• Assist with marketing activities and business development effort.
• Organize and support client events. 
• Handle any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by RM.

Qualifications

• Degree in Banking / Finance / Business
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of working experience in a banking service role 
• Knowledge of corporate banking products will be an advantage
• Familiarity with KYC/AML procedures
• Service-oriented with good communication, interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills
• Organized, meticulous and a good team player
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
