The SAP Business One Functional Consultant is responsible for the end-to-end implementation and optimization of the SAP B1 ecosystem. This role requires a specialist who can bridge the gap between standard SAP B1 functionality and complex client requirements involving custom developments, API integrations, and industry-specific add-ons.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Implementation: Lead the full lifecycle of SAP Business One projects, from initial discovery and blueprinting to configuration, data migration, and successful system go-live.
• Process Architecture: Map complex client business processes across Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, and Manufacturing into the SAP B1 functional framework.
• Technical Translation: Define detailed functional specifications for custom developments (SDK/Service Layer) and manage the seamless integration of third-party applications (e.g., E-commerce, WMS, or Banking Portals).
• Extensibility Management: Evaluate, deploy, and provide functional support for SAP B1 Add-ons to extend core system capabilities for specialized industry requirements.
• Quality Assurance & UAT: Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate that all custom scripts, queries (SQL/HANA), and Crystal Reports meet the defined business specifications.
• Stakeholder Facilitation: Act as the primary functional bridge between client business leads and technical developers, ensuring project alignment and clear communication.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum Criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
• 4+ years of dedicated functional consulting experience specifically with SAP Business One.
• Proficient understanding of the SAP B1 database schema (SQL or HANA) and experience identifying functional gaps that require custom development.
• Strong grasp of core business pillars: Accounting, Distribution, and Inventory Management.
• Proven ability to translate complex business needs into technical specifications while maintaining clear, non-technical dialogue with clients.
• Active SAP B1 Certification

Preferred Skills:

• Specific experience implementing SAP B1 within the F&B, Healthcare, or Automotive sectors.
• Hands-on experience managing API-based integrations and working with the SAP B1 Service Layer.
• High proficiency in designing complex layouts and dashboards using Crystal Reports and SAP HANA analytics.

The Lead Functional Consultant is a strategic role responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Epicor Kinetic. You will lead the functional workstream of complex implementations, ensuring that business processes are optimized and that the final solution aligns with the client’s long-term digital transformation goals. You will serve as the bridge between technical execution and executive-level business requirements.

• Strategic Advisory: Act as the primary subject matter expert and trusted advisor for C-suite and key client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum Criteria:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of ERP Functional Consulting experience.
• Proven experience leading the functional stream of at least 3–5 enterprise level full-cycle ERP implementations.
• Expert-level functional knowledge across core: Financials, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Production Management, and MES.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills; ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business audiences.

Preferred Skills:

• Direct, extensive experience with Epicor Kinetic (Cloud and On-Premise) is highly preferred.
• Previous experience in a Solution Architect or Senior Pre-Sales capacity.
• Proficiency with Epicor technical tools (BAQs, Dashboards, BMPs, or Configurator) to better bridge the gap between functional design and technical build.
• Formal Project Management certification (PMP/PRINCE2) or official Epicor Certifications.

Job Description: • Lead solutioning for complex deals involving multiple service lines and technical disciplines, including RFI, RFP, and informal deal processes. • Guide multi-functional teams of domain experts to design and deliver high-impact solutions. • Collaborate closely with clients, intermediaries, and internal technical authorities to define solution vision and direction, ensuring alignment with client strategy and transformation roadmaps. • Translate complex business initiatives into innovative business-technology solutions, maintaining consistency across solution boundaries. • Work with business stakeholders and project managers to identify inefficiencies in existing processes and applications, recommending fit-for-purpose solutions

Job Requirements: • Engineering degree in computer science or equivalent experience • Minimum 15 years’ experience in IT Service Delivery and Solutions Architecture, with at least 2 years in two or more of the following: Bespoke Application Development (Agile), Application Maintenance and Support, SAAS implementation (e.g., ServiceNow), Data Platform Implementation, or SG Tech Stack Implementation. • Strong understanding of the Singapore Public Sector and other domains such as Banking. • Familiarity with Micro Services Architecture, Java, .Net Core, Data Analytics, ERP, open standards (TOGAF), industry frameworks, and major cloud platforms. • Knowledge of Singapore Government Commercial Cloud, SG Tech Stack, and at least one SAAS platform • Tier-I professional services background. • Proven experience in planning, designing, and implementing large-scale business-IT solutions. • Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to clients, including during whiteboarding and oral sessions.
