We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain customised solutions within the Dynamics 365 CRM ecosystem. The successful candidate will work closely with business and Infocomm Technology stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions whilst ensuring system performance, security, and scalability.

What will you do?

• Drive and contribute to the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solution for CRM module, including gathering requirements, designing and development, module configurations or extensions to the standard Microsoft Dynamics applications and ensure all functionalities work effectively with all other integrated/interfaced applications.

Key Context: The successful candidate will work closely with our internal Product Owners and external development team to translate stakeholder requirements into actionable user stories/scenarios. You be managing both PM responsibilities and, for smaller initiatives, taking on additional project management duties.

What will you do?

• Work with stakeholders to identify & understand the requirements of software systems and innovation trials
• Plan and participate in product conceptualization sessions and innovation trials with stakeholders for eliciting requirements.
• Elicit and documents business/user requirements and translate them into user-stories for development. 
• Manage requirements by continuously clarifying and reviewing them via walkthrough with stakeholders.
• Work with developers to interpret requirements leading to technical implementation.
• Analyze requirements to drive the design or review of test cases/business model/processes
• Work closely with Product Owner on project schedule, issues and escalation
• Work closely with Product Owner to manager business owners’ and project sponsor’s expectations
• Drive business process change requests on gaps identified and manage a project’s scope and acceptance.
• Provide inputs to development team for implementation.
• Work with user experience designers (UXDs) and business users to plan for UAT, coordinates and monitor progress and acceptance of UAT.
• Ensures completion of documentations and filings to facilitate software development.
• Continuously finds means and ways to improve operations, security, streamline work processes and work cooperatively and jointly with various users' departments to provide quality service.
• For smaller projects, double hat as Product Manager with following responsibilities
• Create project status report and other communication materials
• Craft project proposal to secure project funding and justify resource allocations
• Manage project scope and stakeholders’ expectations
• Issue escalation to the right people in timely manner
• Maintain and continuously refine Product Backlog and follow up on action items
• Ensure that cybersecurity requirements and best practices are incorporated throughout the product lifecycle, including threat modelling, security testing, and compliance with relevant security standards

What will you do?

About the team: DXD is a joint Govtech and MOE team that sits at the intersection of technology, design, and education. It’s a place where people solve diverse, complex challenges for the education sector and the organization, alongside thoughtful, intelligent individuals who lead with curiosity, empathy, and optimism. 

Responsibilities: As a Data Engineer on DXD’s Data Programme, you will architect and develop infrastructure to support modern data science and machine learning applications. You will also partner actively with policy and business divisions to support MOE-wide digital transformation efforts through the use of Data and AI methods. You will be expected to:

• Take full ownership of end-to-end data systems and architecture development, integrating databases, backend services, DevOps and cloud infrastructure as required to achieve organizational objectives
• Develop data systems and supporting infrastructure, including database administration, ETL pipelining, and analytics tools for use cases across the MOE ecosystem
• Develop infrastructure and applications in accordance with modern cloud technology, ensuring reusability, scalability and security
• Work cross-functionally with Product Managers, Data Scientists and Users with a strong sense of ownership to ensure that products developed meet user needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience with data systems and architecture development, encompassing database systems, backend, DevOps and infrastructure development with care for reusability, scalability and security considerations
• Experience with developing and administering production-grade databases and data pipelines
• Experience with frontend development is a plus
• Experience with data science and machine learning applications is a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion towards working for public good with interest in the education domain in particular
