Your role in the Team

The APAC Cash Operation team will predominantly be supporting the cash function for APAC, including Singapore, Australia, Japan, India, Dubai and Emerging Markets.  However, the team will also be working with its counterpart in Poland who is responsible for IG’s cash function for the EMEA and NA regions.  The two cash operations teams are required to work together closely to ensure that IG’s cash function globally is running smoothly and is compliant with the local regulations and its internal policies.

As a member of the APAC Cash Operations team, you will support daily cash reconciliations and cash resource projections. Comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the skills required to succeed in the role. This position reports to the APAC Cash Operations Manager and will also involve participation in discussions and testing related to new products and business initiatives.

What you’ll do

As an APAC Cash Operation Senior Analyst, your roles and responsibilities will be:

• Complete daily asset and cash reconciliations promptly, meeting all deadlines, and investigate any discrepancies, ensuring timely resolution through communication with relevant parties.

• Administer Japan employee benefits programs including social insurance, dependent enrollment, retirement, and supplementary benefits to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
• Manage leave administration programs covering statutory leaves and complex, sensitive leave cases aligned with Japanese labor laws and company policies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data across HRIS and vendor systems to support benefits and leave operations
• Serve as the primary operational liaison with Japan benefits and leave vendors to coordinate service delivery and resolve issues
• Communicate effectively in Japanese with employees to facilitate benefits and leave administration processes

Required competencies and certifications

• Japanese language capability for effective communication with Japanese employees and stakeholders

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree with minimum 1 year or diploma with 3 years of experience administering Japan benefits and leave programs
