• Provide timely and quality technical support to customers on application and design-related issues.
• Monitor and keep good track record of design-in activities and ensure design-win is achieved.
• Collaborate with Application Engineer team to validate product performance and reliability in customer's applications.
• Initiate and follow up failure analysis when required. Work with internal quality and engineering teams to identify root-cause and countermeasures.
• Contributes to product roadmaps by providing feedback on customer/application requirements and market trends. Work closely with customers and internal teams to develop tailored solutions.
• Conduct technical seminars, product training, and application workshops for distributors, customers and internal teams.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Electronics Industry, with good knowledge of power electronics
• Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin (for effective communication with the China team). Able to fully understand customer’s needs and requirements
• This role may require frequent traveling, including international travels

Job Description

• Responsible for extracting, transforming and loading (ETL) of data generated in various stages of IC Design process (e.g. Physical verification stage).
• Integrate data from EDA tools (Calibre, DRV, ICV, Fusion Compiler, Innovus), design databases (netlist and layout), and workflow systems.
• Develop and optimize data workflows to facilitate data collection for analysis, machine learning and dashboard.
• Ensure data integrity, governance, and security best practices throughout all data engineering processes.
• Monitor job performance and implement automation and alerting for data operations.
• Work with on-prem data platform.
• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure data quality and availability.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Science
• With min. 3 years of relevant experience in similar industry
• Proficient in EDA tools (Calibre, DRV, Laker, ICV) and familiar with IC Design workflow for design data extraction.
• Proficient in MongoDB, Python or Perl for data processing.
• Strong data analysis, data verification and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Familiar with database system such as Relational Database Management System (MySQL) and Graph database (Neo4j) is a plus.
