KeyResponsibilities:

StakeholderEngagement & Collaboration

Monitoring &Reporting

• Monitor the effectiveness of controls through dashboards, and scorecards (e.g., AFC, risk culture, operational risk, fair dealing etc.).
• Prepare risk management reports for senior management.

ProjectManagement

• Assist in the planning and execution of projects from initiation to closure.

Oversight &Training

• Assist in providing oversight and guidance to BRCM teams in overseas locations.

JobRequirements

Education

• Degree holder in Banking, Finance or Accounting
• Certification in anti-financial crimes, programming, data management and data analytics is preferred

Experienceand Skills

• Degree or professional qualification in business or banking/financial services related areas.

Job description

• Maintain relationship with new and existing custody clients, being the main point of contact with client and internal stakeholders. Responsible for the daily management of both domestic and global custody clients, including new client acquisition and onboarding processes by fulfilling custodian business KPI.
• Promote cross sales and business development and cooperation across various areas such as deposits and loans, and achieve sales target KPIs consist of loan volume, deposit volume, overall operating revenue and asset under custody (AUC).
• Handle credit initiation and management for clients with financing needs, including but not limiting to customer credit rating, credit line approval, post-loan management, and various risk monitoring tasks. Drive cross-selling of a full range of financial products to institutional clients, including RMB clearing, credit facilities, financial markets, bonds, trade finance, with main focus on custody services.
• Manage client’s expectations and propose appropriate strategic business solutions.
• Conduct industry research related to non-bank financial institutions; develop and maintain relevant business policies and procedures; support new product development and market entry.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders on business related discussions.
• Coordinate with industry associations and participate in various client involvement events.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the financial industry, with strong abilities in client relationship management, marketing, and customer service. Knowledge of custody business will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding on the expectations of both domestic and global financial institution clients.
• Experienced in achieving sales KPI by the management team.
• Familiar with trade life cycle and understanding of custody business like settlements and clearing, financial markets, capital markets, and trade finance and risk management.
• Candidates with outstanding capabilities may be considered even if they do not meet the standard industry background or experience requirements.
• Good written and verbal English and Chinese is highly preferred in order to provide service to Chinese speaking clients. Ability to write in Business Chinese will be an added advantage for writing reports to Head Office when necessary.

Job Description:

• Drive process enhancements across regional offices to ensure full compliance with group policies and to recommend improvements in financial controls.
• Coordinate accounting activities for all regional operations, including management information systems (MIS), audits, and transfer pricing.
• Oversee statutory filings and compliance for all group entities, including local sales tax (VAT) and income tax submissions.
• Manage the Finance Shared Services function to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead the finalization of the annual group plan and ensure timely and accurate group financial reporting.
• Conduct periodic visits to regional offices and liaise with local auditors, tax advisors, and consultants.

The Head, Transaction Monitoring and Fraud Products is accountable for delivering Transaction Monitoring (TM) and Fraud technology products globally across all business lines.

This role owns the “how” and “when”, translating business needs into a sequenced, feasible technology product roadmap in close partnership with the Group Process Owner for Transaction Monitoring and Fraud.

• Expert knowledge of Transaction Monitoring and Fraud systems, processes and industry best practices

• Proven ability to translate business, risk and regulatory requirements into scalable technology product capabilities

• Experience working across multiple jurisdictions within a regulated financial services environment
