We are seeking a LTSA (Long Term Service Agreement) Service Engineer to serve as Huawei’s on-site technical authority for our Smart String Energy Storage System (ESS) . You will be embedded at the customer’s facility, acting as the single point of contact for all technical matters under the LTSA. Your mission is to maximize system availability, ensure contractual compliance, and drive operational excellence for Huawei’s BESS solution, including battery cabinets, PCS, SACU, EMS.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational & Technical Oversight

• KPI Tracking: Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators such as system availability, round-trip efficiency, and mean time to repair (MTTR). Utilize Huawei’s digital O&M tools for proactive inspection and health reporting.
• Spare Parts Management: Coordinate the RMA process for faulty components, manage consignment stock (if applicable), and ensure just-in-time delivery of critical spares like PCS modules or battery packs.

3. Customer & Stakeholder Management

• Technical Liaison: Act as the primary interface between the customer’s operations team.
• Reporting: Issue daily operational logs, monthly performance reports, and technical service bulletins. Conduct routine customer meetings to review system performance.
• Training & Handover: Provide on-site theoretical and practical training to customer personnel, including safety operations and maintenance certification as per Huawei standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, or Automation.
• Experience: 1-2 years of field service experience is good. Similar working experience with Battery Energy Storage System is a strong advantage. Fresh grad with proactive learner attitude is welcome.
• Technical Skills:

• Define and execute a comprehensive test automation strategy aligned with project objectives, delivery timelines, and quality goals.
• Architect and develop scalable, reusable automation frameworks across web, mobile, API, and system integration layers.
• Embed automation within Agile and DevOps workflows, enabling seamless CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Establish best practices and standards for test script development, code quality, reviews, and reusability.
• Lead the design, development, execution, and ongoing maintenance of automated test suites for internet and mobile banking platforms.

• Drive automation coverage across functional, regression, API, performance, and security testing.
• Integrate automation tools and frameworks into build, deployment, and release pipelines.
• Manage automation environments, test data strategies, and continuous test validation processes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of automation engineers across onshore, offshore, internal, and external teams.

• Work closely with QA Leads, Developers, DevOps Engineers, and Business Analysts to embed automation throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Engage business and technology stakeholders by reporting on automation coverage, progress, effectiveness, and ROI.

Quality & Risk Assurance

• Ensure automation frameworks meet banking-grade security, compliance, and regulatory standards.
• Identify opportunities to optimize manual testing through automation to improve speed, quality, and efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement by evaluating and adopting new automation tools, frameworks, and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of QA experience, including at least 3 years in an Automation Lead or similar role.
• Strong hands-on expertise with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in API testing using tools such as Postman or Karate.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
• Strong programming or scripting skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar languages.
• Experience working with banking or financial services systems, particularly internet and mobile banking applications.
• ISTQB Test Automation Engineer, Certified SDET, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack) is an advantage.
• Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) and security testing frameworks is preferred.
• Familiarity with corporate banking products such as cash management, payments, FX, and trade finance is a plus.
