Accounting Assistant

Job Description

• AP functions - Manage payment processing of vendor invoices and prepare payment;
• Prepare expenses and staff claims;
• AR functions - Post receipts to system, send monthly SOA to customers and follow up with outstanding payment;
• Reconciliation of overseas PO, invoice and SOA;
• Maintain up to date records and well organize documents;
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirement

• O/A Levels/Diploma with basic accounting knowledge;
• Knowledge of NAVISION software will be an advantage;
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel;
• Responsible, able to mutli-task and well-organize.

Role Summary

This role is responsible for driving new business acquisition and expanding NNR Singapore’s market presence through strategic customer development.

The position is expected to independently identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities, including large and global accounts, while contributing to overall revenue and gross profit growth.

Key Responsibilities

2.1 New Business Development

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across target industries
• Build and manage a pipeline of strategic accounts, including large and global accounts
• Actively pursue new customer acquisition through direct engagement, networking, and market intelligence

2.2 Account Development

• Develop and execute account strategies for key prospects
• Engage decision-makers and multiple stakeholders within target organizations
• Lead commercial discussions including pricing, solution proposals, and negotiations

2.3 Revenue and Profit Responsibility

• Achieve assigned revenue and gross profit targets
• Drive sustainable and profitable business growth
• Ensure commercial viability of all new business secured

2.4 Internal Coordination

• Work closely with operations teams and overseas offices to deliver customer solutions
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure service quality and execution
• Support cross-border collaboration within the NNR network

2.5 Sales Management and Reporting

• Maintain an active and accurate sales pipeline
• Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts
• Ensure proper documentation and visibility of business development activities

3. Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

Performance will be evaluated based on, but not limited to, the following:

• New customer acquisition (number and quality)
• New business gross profit contribution

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry
• Minimum 10 years of sales / business development experience
• Proven track record in new business acquisition (hunter role) with measurable revenue / gross profit contribution
• Experience in acquiring and managing multinational or large regional accounts
• Strong ability to engage with senior decision-makers (C-level / regional stakeholders)
• Experience in cross-border logistics solutions and multi-country coordination

Specific Responsibilities:

 Teaching and Learning:

• Have thorough knowledge of and deliver the SJII Elementary School RME curriculum

Assessment, Recording and Reporting:

• Possess a thorough knowledge of the school’s Assessment Policies and Procedures
• Observe and assess the progress of the students
• Administer, and analyse the results of, observations and assessments of student learning in RME
• Ensure that assessment data is recorded, analysed and used to plan future teaching and learning, and to evaluate the effectiveness of the grade level programme
• Report on student progress in RME outlining the content covered, student engagement and their current knowledge and understanding
• Engage in professional dialogue around assessment data and differentiation of curriculum in order to meet the academic, social and emotional needs of the students

Standards and Quality Assurance:

• Provide duty of care and pastoral support to ensure the wellbeing of the students
• Report to the Head of RME or relevant member of the SLT, any matters related to child safeguarding, Health and Safety, discipline or personal concerns
• Model and promote the school’s positive behaviour policy and the Virtues programme that underpins this.
• Collaborate and communicate regularly with the AP Curriculum and Assessment (Upper and Lower Elementary), AP for Enrichment and Brother President when appropriate.
• Ensure that RME resources are organised and managed to provide an efficient, effective and safe learning environment
• Monitor, evaluate and review the available teaching and learning resources and communicate suggested improvements or changes to the Head of RME
• Research and recommend resources that may be available beyond the school that support teaching and learning or provide professional development opportunities for the grade level team
• Ensure positive and effective partnerships with parents through regular and clear communication about the student when appropriate
• Reflect and evaluate own teaching and assessment practices through the school’s Professional Reflection and Development structure and in discussions with school leadership in order to ensure continuous improvement

Monitoring and Evaluation Executive (Part-time: 3 days work week or 24h/week)

About the Role

The Monitoring and Evaluation Executive will support the Research, Monitoring and Evaluation team to measure the impact of DOT’s services as well as support the organisation in special projects that aim to expand DOT’s impact and thought leadership in the social service industry. This role will report to the Research, Monitoring and Evaluation Manager and work closely with other programme functions, including Programme & Operations, Employment Bridging & Employer Engagement, and Volunteer Management to obtain data and provide evaluation and feedback. The role will also involve participating in an in-person organisation-wide bi-weekly meeting.

Responsibilities

Monitoring & Evaluation

●      Support the monitoring and evaluation of DOT’s programmes and schemes

●      Provide accurate and timely reporting of the findings to internal and external stakeholders

●      Translate findings into reports, presentations, online posts and other communication platforms

●      Administrative duties such as data collection, database management (on Salesforce), preparing data for analysis, organising of resources, reaching out to respondents etc.

●      Conduct surveys, interviews, focus group discussions either in-person or via distribution of the research tool

●      Conduct observations during programmes wherever required (some weekday evenings required)

●      Manage resources within M&E, including survey reimbursements

Qualifications

●      Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of research and data analysis experience, preferably with social services or non-profit
