Key Responsibilities:

• Concept Development:
• Develop and articulate creative concepts and themes for events, ensuring they are unique, innovative, and align with the client’s vision and objectives.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into engaging event experiences.
• Creative Direction:
• Lead the creative direction for all events, including design, decor, entertainment, and overall ambiance.
• Oversee the creation of event materials, such as invitations, programs, signage, and digital content.
• Team Leadership:
• Manage and inspire a team of creative professionals, including designers, decorators, and entertainment coordinators.
• Provide clear direction and constructive feedback to ensure high-quality creative output.
• Project Management:
• Work closely with the event planning and production teams to ensure seamless execution of the creative vision.
• Develop and manage timelines, budgets, and resources for creative projects.
• Vendor Coordination:
• Identify, negotiate with, and manage external vendors and partners for creative elements such as lighting, staging, and audiovisual services.
• Ensure all vendor deliverables meet the creative standards and event requirements.
• Trend Analysis:
• Stay updated on the latest trends in event design, technology, and entertainment to incorporate fresh and innovative ideas into events.
• Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to maintain a competitive edge.
• Client Interaction:
• Present creative concepts and proposals to clients, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and trust in our creative capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Design, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Creative Director or similar role in the event industry. Minimum 4 years and above
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative event concepts and executions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creativity and innovation.

Additional Skills:

The Sales Lead for Malaysia is responsible for driving sales of GfK’s (by NIQ Company) retail audits and digital adhoc solutions with specific focus on point-of-sale within local domestic market. He/ she would also be effectively managing key client accounts to ensure overall client satisfaction with GfK (by NIQ Company) services, thereby achieving continuous revenue growth for the business.

Responsibilities: 

• Achieve country sales target and manage accounts with new and existing clients
• Strategize the business selling approach with focus on the Tech & Durables industry
• Identify and develop the growth opportunity values using GfK tracking data based on the client needs
• Analyze and present our data and findings in order to create a need to increase selling opportunities to existing and potential clients

Based out of our Malaysian office, the successful candidate will:

• Review and conduct AML/KYC/PEP and Sanction Checks investigating sanction alerts and adverse media.
• Conduct High Risk payment, Relationship Management Agreement (RMA) and transaction monitoring reviews, and investigate potential issues arising
• Perform day-to-day compliance activity to support the business i.e. compliance approvals, escalations, alerts
• Assist with the Compliance Monitoring Process, carrying out testing and quality control checks as required.
• Work with the global Compliance Team to develop, implement, and monitor the applicable Compliance Monitoring Plans (CMP) to ensure appropriate controls are developed, monitored and updated to reflect changing regulatory and industry requirements.
• Enhance management reporting and assist in the periodic reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), the Compliance Committee, Board of Directors, Senior Management and the parent company.
• Assist in annual policy and procedure reviews highlighting any potential areas of improvement.
• Assist with developing and providing compliance training to employees.
• Support regulatory data enhancement projects as they arise.
• Keep abreast of all relevant regulatory developments.
• Any other ad-hoc projects and duties as required.

Compliance, Risk Management & Controls

• Maintain fiduciary responsibility to the organization and stakeholders by ensuring full compliance with policies, accounting standards, and local regulatory requirements.
• Safeguard organizational assets and interests by serving as the guardian of management agreements, contracts, and critical legal documents.
• Conduct regular operational risk assessments, establish and maintain a comprehensive risk register, and develop action plans to mitigate identified risks.
• Ensure proper segregation of duties, monitor internal control systems regularly, and document compliance with established control procedures.
• Approve all cash disbursements and ensure proper documentation and execution of all financial transactions.
• Develop, implement, and monitor credit and collection procedures in accordance with corporate policies.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all incidents in accordance with company protocol.
