Job Summary:

The Product Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our software product offerings. This position is responsible for designing, developing and managing capabilities for a specific networking software from product definition and planning through production, release and end of life. Serves as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Leads, defines and develops features within Allied Telesis’ software products.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with business objectives and market demands.
• Work closely with engineering and design teams to prioritize, define and deliver impactful product features.
• Lead the product launch process, coordinating with marketing, sales, and engineering teams to ensure successful execution.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product positioning and identify opportunities for innovation.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to drive product adoption, engagement, and revenue growth.
• Monitor product performance metrics and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement and inform future product iterations.

Requirement

• Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• 5+ years experience in product management or related field.
• Proven track record for building, launching, and maintaining high-scale, successful products.
• Strong knowledge of ML models and passion for building AI focused tools.
• Experience creating and managing global product roadmaps, ensuring consistent execution of the product life cycle from concept to launch
• Ability to collaborate, build consensus, deliver, and drive technical decisions with various sized customer stakeholder groups.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to convey a product strategy to partners and senior leaders.
• Engineering background is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the end-to-end service, maintenance, and installation of physical security systems
• Managing a team of service engineers, driving project delivery, and serving as the primary client liaison for technical operations and customer satisfaction.
• Supervise a group of service engineers.
• Set performance targets, manage resource allocation, and support career development.
• Oversee security equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and system programming per required standards.
• Prepare service scopes and develop project plans.
• Act as the primary contact for client representatives on all service and maintenance matters.
• Manage customer expectations, escalations, and satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities to improve technical capabilities and operational procedures, ensuring all work complies with workplace safety standards.

Requirement

• Min Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Min 6 years of demonstrable success in a technical leadership role, ideally within the Security and CCTV sector.
• Hands-on experience in security system configuration, application programming, and integration with third-party systems is an advantage.
