• Advanced Failure Analysis: Manage high-complexity equipment breakdown activities and perform root-cause analysis to provide long-term technical solutions, minimize production downtime, and directly drive improvements in MTTR and MTBF metrics.
• Continuous Improvement Implementation: Identify floor-level bottlenecks and actively execute continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing equipment reliability, reducing repair times, and eliminating process waste to support the department's overall KPIs.
• Standardize Procedures: Maintain and update current equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration procedures and work instructions to ensure ongoing consistency.
• Regulatory & Safety: Supervise and ensure all test processes and equipment comply to regulatory and safety requirements.
• Team Supervision: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the support team.
• Technical Skill: Overseeing the training and development programs to enhance technical skills of the team to improve the production support efficiency.
• Reporting & Communication: Attend department meetings to report on department KPIs and project status.
• Documentation Management: Review and update procedures, manuals, and troubleshooting guides to reflect current processes and equipment configurations.
• PM & Calibration Tracking: Review Schedule and track preventative maintenance and calibration activities for all test equipment.
• Inventory Monitoring: Monitor spare parts inventory and initiate procurement requests to ensure essential test components are readily available.
• 5S Compliance: Monitor 5S for all equipment on the line.
• Additional Duties: Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent. 
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in related fields is preferred. 
• Preferably with good knowledge of Electronics fundamentals.
• ICT/ AXI/FP equipment support knowledge is highly preferred.
• Programming knowledge is highly preferred.
• Strong supervisory, mentoring, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge in using measuring instruments and schematic reading.
• Negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office/ Google Suite applications.

As one of the first few hires on the venture, you will shape the product to speak to the voice of the customer with your creative design expertise. 

Job Responsibilities
Design Strategy and Planning 

• Drive product design outcomes across key product areas, setting design direction for complex and strategic initiatives

• Define and execute design strategies, sprint goals, and experience principles that align with user needs, business objectives, product priorities, and brand direction

• Communicate the product vision, experience strategy, and design rationale clearly to internal teams, external stakeholders, and senior decision-makers

Product Design Execution, Visual Design & Design Systems 

• Create and execute low to high-fidelity designs, including user flows, wireframes, mockups, visual design comps, prototypes, and interaction states

• Shape the overall product and feature experience, ensuring individual features connect into a cohesive, intuitive, and scalable end-to-end user journey

• Produce high-quality visual design that elevates the clarity, consistency, credibility, and engagement of the user experience in line with the brand

• Design with consideration for regional and contextual user behaviours, ensuring solutions are relevant, practical, and user-appropriate

• Establish, maintain, and evolve the design system and style guide, including reusable components, patterns, interaction states, and visual standards

• Ensure designs follow established design system patterns while identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement

• Promote accessibility, usability, systems thinking, and scalable design best practices across all design work

User Research, Usability Testing & Iteration 

• Lead stakeholder sessions, user research, ethnographic research, and design thinking workshops to uncover user needs, business requirements, pain points, and opportunity areas

• Translate research insights into clear, actionable design deliverables, including personas, user journeys, storyboards, system maps, user flows, wireframes, visual design comps, and prototypes

• Plan, facilitate, and synthesize usability testing for assigned features, flows, and experience journeys, turning findings into actionable recommendations for Product and Engineering teams

• Iterate designs based on user feedback, usability findings, stakeholder input, product insights, and business priorities to continuously improve the user experience

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Delivery 

• Work closely with Product and Engineering to scope, iterate, and ship high-quality product features

• Partner with Product Management to plan and execute product design strategy, define priorities, and align design work with roadmap goals

• Collaborate with Engineering to resolve technical constraints while protecting UX goals, clarifying acceptance criteria, edge cases, and implementation details
  
• Work with Content, Marketing, Growth, and Business teams where required to support product launches, campaigns, and related design assets
  
• Represent the design function in cross-functional discussions, ensuring user needs, design quality, and business objectives are considered in decision-making
  

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing stellar B2C products end-to-end, preferably fullstack web or hybrid apps 

• Experience working in a combination of early-stage ventures, digital product build and corporate environments 

• Experience designing and delivering end to end UI and UX using tried and tested processes

• Strong experience to Agile delivery approach and related tools

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

• Excellent fundamentals in design thinking, interaction design and visual design 

• Experience coaching and mentoring others in Product Design

• Solid experience with wire-framing and prototyping as a means to explore and convey design solutions with portfolio demonstrating design process, shipped work and impact

• Solid experience using Human Centred Design techniques to understand user behaviour and expectations 

Expertise in Figma, Miro, Notion, Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and other design tooling

Additional Skills/Good to Have

• Experience in Branding, Service Design, User Research and Project Management

• Experience in EdTech, Sustainability, AR Design, Game Design, Conservation or related fields 

• Basic knowledge of 2D/3D design and animation is desired

• Experience in designing experiences for physical events and campaigns and worked with third-party vendors, contractors, clients and suppliers

Responsibilities:

• Design, development, testing and support of firmware/embedded software applications for microcontroller based wireless systems.
• Develop software communication protocols for wireless communication systems
• Drive technology/development projects in all phrases from specification to release.
• Read or understand electronics schematic and system design.
• Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure project delivery on time.
• Define and create product software specification including software architecture, feature descriptions and applications notes of the system
• Research technical issues and/or opportunities and provide recommendations.
• Participate in ad hoc software projects and assignments as required.

Requirement:

• Degree in Electronic/Electrical/Computer Engineering/Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in real time embedded system
• Must process strong knowledge of C/C++ language
• Experience with Arm, Cortex based microcontroller is required
• Strong Knowledge of the communication transport protocol like I2C, SPI, UART and USB
• Understanding of the Bluetooth protocol and stack is a plus.
• Familiarity with DSP programming is an added advantage
• Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
