About the Role

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our project team for a major building and infrastructure project located on Penang Island.

This is a site-based position. You will play an important role in coordinating construction activities and assisting in the successful delivery of the project in accordance with approved drawings, construction programme, quality requirements, and safety requirements.

This role requires close coordination with the management team, consultants, and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Architecture, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, or other related construction / engineering disciplines.

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in building construction, infrastructure works, M&E works, site coordination, or project engineering.

• Experience in site coordination, subcontractor management, consultant coordination, drawing coordination, or construction progress follow-up.

• Experience in reviewing construction drawings / shop drawings, coordinating site works, preparing or assisting in method statements, and arranging site inspections will be an advantage.

• Familiar with construction processes, construction methods, building materials, site quality requirements, and safety management requirements.

• Candidates with experience in architectural, structural, and M&E coordination will be preferred.

• Monitor VOIP network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.

Operational Management

• Configure PBX server with Asterisk, ensuring smooth operation and optimal performance of VOIP systems.

• Ensure network connectivity of all servers, workstations, telephony equipment, and other network appliances.

Job Responsibilities

1. Design & Engineering Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical system designs for projects (e.g. LV/MV systems, lighting, earthing).

Job Description

The Security Engineer's role is to support the product team in performing product/ solution installation, testing, documentation, and support.

Responsibilities

• To study and understand the technical aspects of all the security solutions carried by our company i.e. Firewall, AntiVirus, EDR etc.
• To perform installation and customization of product and provides technical support.

Required Skills

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Computer Science/Information Technology, Science & Technology or equivalent. 
• Solid understanding of Network Routing and Switching, DNS, Firewall, IPSEC, VPN and familiar with OSI 7 layers.
• Good exposure in Linux/Unix environment would be plus.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, powershell, bash) would be plus.
• Able to work well under pressure. 
• Applicants must be independent, aggressive and result oriented.
• Applicants should be Malaysian citizens. 

Additional Notes

• Open Source knowledge, Internet Infrastructure knowledge (Firewall, WAF, Proxy), etc will be an advantage.
