• Negotiate credit terms with suppliers and financial institutions.

4. Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.

• Oversee statutory compliance including corporate tax, GST, and audit requirements.

• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.

• Ensure adherence to Singapore accounting standards and corporate governance frameworks.

5. Risk Management & Internal Controls

• Develop internal control systems to mitigate operational and financial risks.

• Oversee inventory valuation, batch costing, and shrinkage control.

• Implement fraud prevention and financial risk monitoring mechanisms.

• Conduct regular internal financial audits.

6. Funding & Investor Relations

• Support fundraising initiatives including bank financing or investor funding.

• Prepare financial models, valuation reports, and business projections.

• Engage with investors and financial institutions as required.

• Manage grant claims and government funding compliance (if applicable).

7. Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and mentor finance, accounting, and administrative teams.

• Establish clear performance KPIs and accountability frameworks.

• Collaborate closely with operations, procurement, and business development teams to align financial objectives.

Job Description:

-Overall responsible for all operations components of the department to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of operations

-Responsible for the development and implementation of the Retail shop annual business plan and medium-long term strategies, as well as establishing key performance objectives to ensure that meet business targets and drives sustainable, profitable growth

-Ensure that operational standards are met in regard to sanitation requirements, safety regulations, operation license and loss prevention

-Maintain and develop high standards of operations in shop by ensuring all SOPs are relevant, up to date, trained effectively and operationally delivered.

-Participate in Marketing activities to ensure maximum exposure for shop, including the development and implementation of the annual and monthly promotions calendar.

-Drive high levels of guest satisfaction through the consistent execution of brand standards, visible operational leadership, and hands-on interaction with guests and team members.

Job Requirements:

-Minimum5 years’ related experience

-Strong financial acumen, leadership skills to lead and motivate the team

-Ability to work under pressure

• Daily interfacing with airline customers’ component supply team, supplying aircraft components according to their fleet’s requirements.
• Preparing and conducting programme reviews with customers.
• Collaborating with our in-house Reliability team to discuss recommended aircraft component modifications and upgrades to improve overall reliability while considering maintenance cost.
• Monitoring and maintaining the component rotables asset pool to support airlines.
• Controlling, managing and approving repairs, exchanges and AOG support costs. 
• Sales forecast, invoicing and collection of billed invoices. 
• Ensure overall profitability and efficiency of the MBH programme.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, engineering field and relevant working experience in the aviation industry preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively.
• Independent, resourceful and self-motivated.
• Able to plan ahead to manage component demand schedules, resolve issues and initiate corrective measures, analyse financial reports and program performance reports.

Knowledge / Skills /Competencies

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Relevant working experience in the aviation industry is preferred.
