• Identify, develop, and deploy AI use cases within AlMg Substrate manufacturing, targeting yield improvement, defect reduction, and equipment downtime minimization across Plate, Wash, and Polish processes.

Facilities Engineer will be responsible as a system owner on designated Facility System and Equipments for its operation, maintenance, and engineering. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and provide remote and on-site technical assistance to service teams and customers.

This is an individual contribution role as a Plating Process Control Engineer in manufacturing engineering operations responsible for monitoring and controlling plating processes to ensure quality and yield targets while implementing process improvements and optimization initiatives. The role encompasses managing plating bath chemistry and refresh schedules, troubleshooting process deviations, conducting statistical analysis to support process changes, and ensuring compliance with contamination control procedures. The engineer is also expected to leverage data analytics and machine learning techniques to establish linkages between Key Process Input Variables (KPIVs) and Key Process Output Variables (KPOVs), enabling predictive process control and data-driven decision making. Key technical competencies include understanding electroplating principles and chemistry, knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, experience with process control systems and data analysis, and familiarity with cleanroom operations and safety protocols. We are seeking a strategic Operation/Production Material & Cost Engineer to lead comprehensive OSRM (Operating Supply & Raw Material) and spare parts management initiatives. This role combines financial acumen, operational excellence, and digital innovation to drive significant cost optimization while ensuring seamless production continuity. You will spearhead transformational projects that leverage AI and automation to enhance inventory efficiency, cost transparency, and decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic OSRM & Spare Parts Cost Management

• Own end-to-end OSRM and spare parts cost planning, monitoring, and control to achieve or exceed annual financial targets.
• Conduct comprehensive cost driver analysis and variance investigations; identify and execute high-impact cost reduction and optimization initiatives.
• Lead strategic OSRM cost improvement projects, including consumption reduction, supplier rationalization, and lifecycle cost optimization.

2. Demand, Supply & Inventory Planning

• Develop and manage integrated OSRM demand and supply plans aligned with production requirements and operational capacity.
• Oversee procurement and distribution of production cleanroom consumables and OSRM to ensure uninterrupted operational continuity.
• Manage company spare parts inventory strategically, including stock profiling, safety stock optimization, and inventory location management.

• Collaborate closely with Process Engineering, NPI, and Procurement on new material introduction for mass production, usage algorithm verification, and implementation timelines.
• Lead non-moving parts disposition planning with Equipment teams using SPIMS data analytics.

• Conduct engineering site surveys to plan equipment and interconnection locations at the site, as well as connections to the existing electrical system.
• Develop and prepare designs for residential solar PV systems, including but not limited to the electrical, structural, and mechanical aspects of the projects.
• Work with the Design Department to confirm the engineering design and decide on the DC equipment and AC interconnection locations at the site, as well as connections to the existing electrical system.
• Liaise with and manage subcontractors regarding their scope of work, schedules, and monitoring the quality of workmanship during installation.
• Record, implement, and manage design change requirements.
• Work with internal and/or external parties such as TNB, consulting firms, and local authorities on licensing applications and documentation.

• Prepare internal handovers to the O&M department, and communicate with O&M resources during O&M and DLP to ensure compliance with the committed Scope of Work and Service Level Agreement.
• Support O&M in attending to any electrical breakdowns related to solar PV systems during the DLP, initiate fault diagnosis and corrective actions for assigned solar PV projects, and implement new designs or procedures for project installation to avoid recurring faults due to project handling or inappropriate design.
• Provide technical reports for any retention claims from subcontractors due to mishandling, manufacturing claims for product failure, and insurance claims for external factors covered by EAR/WC.
• Monitor system performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical performance reports before internal handover to the O&M department.

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree/Postgraduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably have at least 1 year of working experience in electrical installations or the construction industry.
