• Evaluate and verify yields/quality with global teams to ensure we are shipping the highest quality product to our customers with enforce to all data sheet specifications.

• Support both internal and external groups on experiments designed to improve yield or capacity by resolving test issues that impact site in a timely manner.

• Drive Innovation and Improvement with the end goal of reducing the Cost of Test for Micron in the Test Department.

• Support intra-departmental (and multi-site) teams in development of new processes and capabilities to support product roadmap; lead teams and drive development where necessary.

• Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers Implement Solutions to Issues Related to Probe and Test processes in a Timely Manner 

• Demonstrate ability to leverage on existing resources Serve as a Liaison and Coach 

• Actively share and/or present technical information to a wide variety of audiences, including formal presentations (when necessary) to area, department, site, or larger industry groups 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, or Electronics Engineering 

• Minimum 5 years of experience in test solution engineering in semiconductor industry.

• Experienced in digital systems and digital logic for DRAM or HBM.

• Strong logical thinking and problem solving.

Job Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Software Engineer who can design, build, and deliver solutions end to end. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both high-level architecture and deep implementation work, and who is comfortable taking ownership from problem definition through deployment and maintenance. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and fellow engineers to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable, and reliable systems. You should be equally comfortable working independently and collaborating with others, while also helping to mentor and coach more junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver end-to-end software solutions from concept to production
• Translate business and operational requirements into clear technical designs and working code
• Build robust backend and frontend systems with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability

Requirements

• Proven experience as a senior software engineer or in a similar role
• Strong hands-on engineering skills with the ability to architect systems from end to end
• Strong programming fundamentals and a solid understanding of good software engineering practices
• Experience with code reviews and a clear understanding of what high-quality, maintainable code looks like
• Comfortable working with a variety of programming languages and technologies
• Strong proficiency in Python preferred
• Strong experience with React preferred
• Good understanding of software design, testing strategies, performance, security, and maintainability
• Knowledge of agentic coding is a plus, but must having strong software knowledge to review AI’s output
• Good working knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and production operations
• Able to work independently, manage ambiguity, and take ownership of outcomes
• Strong team player who can also mentor junior team members
• Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience translating business requirements into practical technical solutions
