1. Responsible for the procurement activities of the assigned materials which include:

• Responsible as main interface with customer order planning team & project stakeholder with effective coordination.

2. Constantly review the planning parameters according to business trend.

3. Responsible to support the activities on inventory management to achieve monthly coverage and inventory turns including quick disposition on rejected and obsolete materials, minimize overhanging materials, work on
overhanging materials claims, disposition on transportation damage material etc.

4. Strategic planning to minimize special premium cost (e.g. change of ship mode) to support situation requirement.

5. Work on special freight claims and line-down claims due to delinquent supply from suppliers.

6. Involve in engineering changes request. Determine implementation dates of ECN (Engineering Change Notice) for raw material. Assist the project team in ECN effective date setting for software related topic.

7. Support the analysis of raw material ABC classification, inventory report etc. as and when needed.

8. Support activities related to Bosch Production System (BPS), e.g. kanban/consi implementation, continuous
improvement project etc.

9. Work together and support each other within LOG as well as with another department.

10. Support and work towards achieving the departmental goal & central deployment KPIs.

11. Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

12. Escalate procurement issues that affect a single Value Stream (Level 1).

Your Job

As a Planner/Senior Planner at Molex Singapore, your role will revolve around coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments based on daily and weekly production schedules. You will liaise with department supervisors to ensure work progress and timely completion of tasks, support subcontract services, manage material master updates, and address production challenges. Additionally, you will independently handle customer interactions, contributing to efficient production and operational excellence.

This role is part of the DSS Division at Molex Singapore, where you will work closely with various internal departments, including operations, engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain teams. You will also interact with external stakeholders like component and assembly subcontractors and external warehouses, ensuring seamless coordination across the production process. What You Will Do

• Prepare and manage production schedules, prioritizing job orders to ensure plan versus actual achievements (SAP/Fusion APS).
• Review production backlogs and work closely with in-house production, assembly planners, and buyers to resolve overdue orders or implement alternative solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with operations teams, including engineering and quality assurance, to eliminate quality obstacles and enable smooth production.
• Coordinate with MIE and production teams to schedule sample runs and address process improvements.
• Oversee raw material and subcon component shortages, liaising with assembly planners to facilitate production recovery and alternative planning.
• Manage complex product lines by providing end-to-end services from component planning to finished goods.
• Independently engage with customers to address requirements and ensure satisfaction.
• Evaluate capacity requirements versus availability for assigned product lines, identifying deviations and recommending adjustments or capacity expansions as needed.
• Support GS&OP monthly cadence, ensuring accurate work center maintenance and optimizing available capacities (OEE/POEE performance tracking).
• Align delivery schedules with lead time requirements to achieve delivery goals.
• Control inventory levels by minimizing surplus, slow-moving, and excess inventories, while preventing under-stocking to maintain delivery commitments.
• Update and maintain material master views for new and existing parts and coordinate clean-up of obsolete (OBS) parts.
• Analyze capacity alerts, inventory levels, and exception reports, categorizing slow-moving stock and providing scrap or disposal recommendations as necessary.
• Support lean projects, new system development, and plant product pruning initiatives for better machine utilization.
• Liaise with QA and shipping departments to execute shipments, ensuring billing and customer shipment targets are met.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Diploma or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production planning or related role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with a solid understanding of ERP systems.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess capacity planning and inventory management challenges effectively.

• Direct the overall planning and development of new spatial activities and the activities of current projects and programs

• Work closely with peers on the account leadership team, other service lines, and client representatives regarding proper staffing, future projects, and maintaining proper client relationships

• Prepare operational presentations and reports illustrating Space pipeline, progress, challenges, opportunities, and recommendations. • Ensure compliance with core program standards - all C&W tools, processes, templates, and outputs standardized and customized to the client

• Demonstrate proactive solutioning through root cause analysis, solution development, evaluation of options, and alternatives and recommendation of the best course of action for projects, processes, and overall program operations

• Collaborate with IFM, PDS, and client RE leadership for alignment and day-to-day operations. Recommend adjustments to processes when misalignment is identified

• Oversee the creation and maintenance of playbooks, templates, and tools

• Coach the team in providing effective space planning solutions and move management delivery for all project types (expansions, relocations, consolidations, refreshes); client relationship management; vendor relationship management; talent management; and resource utilization

• Direct the development of planning proposals, site assessments for space efficiencies, utilization metrics, and supply and demand studies and direct the delivery of project activities, including relocations, restacks, renovations, and consolidations

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a related discipline or field of study (i.e. Architecture, Interior Design, Corporate Real Estate & Facilities Management Planning/Coordination, Facilities, Project or Construction Management, etc.)

• Five to Seven years experience in a corporate real estate environment

• Possesses strong analytical skills and the ability to develop conclusions and recommendations

• Maintains a working knowledge of CAFM software, space management systems and relational database functionality.
