You will design and optimize Plasma-CVD or Diffusion for Micron’s innovative NAND Flash products.

As a PD Engineer, you will take ideas from conception through process development then implementation in our manufacturing facilities. In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will also run the projects of highly technical nature. This role is essential to the success of Micron’s products and may require business-related travel. Primary areas of responsibility include Plasma-CVD or Thermal Diffusion process and film characterization, optimization, design, troubleshooting, process transfer and fundamental research.

• 5+ years’ experience post-graduation, in a technical consultancy organisation
• Experience working in Coastal Structures, Piers and Port Engineering, Maritime Defence infrastructure, LNG ports/terminals or equivalent industries. 
• Working knowledge of Singaporean, Australian and/or international standards and guidelines relevant to the design of coastal structures such as seawalls, revetments, breakwaters, groynes etc.
• Relevant registration with recognized engineering/environmental body.
• Strong English language skills. Secondary language skills in Malay, Mandarin, Tamil, Burmese or Bahasa are desirable.
• Unrestricted and permanent work rights in Singapore.

Job Summary

Join one of the region’s leading bridge design teams as a Civil & Structural Engineer. This role is suited for motivated engineering professionals who are passionate about structural design, technical problem-solving, and delivering safe, efficient solutions for building and civil infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Undertake detailed design of buildings and civil infrastructures
• Execute of civil and structural design involving the preparation of calculations and review of structural design drawings in accordance to client' requirement
• Work with Qualified Person (QP) to develop design scheme for civil and structural works
• Coordinate with Authorities, Clients and Contractor

Skills & Competencies We’re Looking For

• Strong understanding of structural analysis and design principles, including familiarity with Eurocodes.
• Ability to prepare and interpret engineering calculations and structural drawings accurately.
• Knowledge of reinforced concrete (RC) and steel structure design/detailing.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as SAP2000, Midas Civil, Adsec, SAFE, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with BIM and drafting software will be an added advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills when working with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage site issues independently.
• Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and commitment to project deadlines.

Required Qualification & Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (preferably recognized by the Professional Engineers Board).

Job Description:

• Provide application support to achieve the Critical Dimension Scanning Electron Microscopes (CD-SEM) performance required by the customer which includes creation of measurement recipes and optimization of measurement conditions.
• Analyze, interpret, and present application results to customers, providing technical recommendations.
• Provide expert guidance to customers in the creation, optimization, and deployment of CD-SEM recipes at their sites.
• Examine solutions for measurement challenges in cutting-edge semiconductor devices, and propose optimized conditions, additional tool adjustments, and new applications.
• Investigate the root cause of any measurement issues on the CD-SEM and implement counter measures in collaboration with related departments mainly located in Japan.
• Conduct applications training for customers and engineers

Requirements:
• Possess over 7 years of professional experience as an Application Engineer specializing in Critical Dimension Scanning Electron Microscopes (CD‑SEM).

• Comfortable working with problem-based situation, equipped with problem solving skills and capable of handling sudden situations.

• Comfortable working in cleanroom environment when needed

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders.

·      Willing and able to travel frequently, including on short notice, to support customer sites and business requirements.
