Responsibilities

The role requires the applicant to design and conceptualise the integration of multiple physical security solutions to ensure solutions are cost effective, scalable and aligned to customers security needs.

• Collaborate Closely with the sales team to understand the clients requirements for physical security needs and requirements.

• Support and provide technical solutioning and support during the pre-sales process supporting the sales team during tenders for solutioning, costing and validation, including, product demonstrations, technical presentations, proof-of-concept activities, technical specifications, integration plans and compliance.

• Design and propose comprehensive integrated physical security solutions including but not limited to access control solutions, surveillance systems, ingress protection solutions.

• Collaborate closely with the project team to hand over the design concept, costing, etc for the next phase of project implementation.

• Work together with industry partners and vendors to ensure proposed solutions are robust in design and up-to date.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Security, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: 5 years of experience in Integrated physical security pre-sales, system integration, or a related technical field.

Observability Engineering:

•Architect, deploy, and optimize Splunk ITSI dashboards, KPIs, glass tables, and service maps.

•Continuously enhance visibility into the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.

Proactive Monitoring & Investigation:

•Leverage observability data to investigate system issues and anomalies in real-time.

•Identify root causes using advanced event correlation, log analysis, and telemetry patterns.

Job Scope

As a Systems Specialist, you will be providing support in the following areas:

a) Administration and maintenance of the following:

• Backup System, CA-1

• z/OS operating system and JCL (Job Control Language)

• Tape management systems and automated tape libraries

• Backup hardware (Data domain/ECS/ Hitachi CGX/Tape library)

b) Carrying-out security patching, hardening, upgrade of the abovementioned software as and when required

c) Carrying-out installation and configuration of the abovementioned backup software

d) Monitor system performance and capacity planning for backup storage requirements

e) Work with hardware and software vendor to resolve technical issue

f) Review logs from the abovementioned hardware and software

g) Participate in technical exercises as and when required.

Requirements

a) Minimum 3-5 years experience with mainframe backup systems, specifically CA-1

c) Understanding of mainframe storage concepts including DASD, tape, and virtual storage

Working Experience And Skill Requirement

In addition to the Mandatory Basic Non Enterprise Server Skill Requirements:

b) Must have two (2) years’ working experience in applying Linux patches, troubleshooting Linux server issues and upgrading of Server OS;

• Develop, automate, and maintain cloud-native applications, platform services, and infrastructure components on OpenShift, leveraging containerization, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps practices to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient solutions.
