Information Technology team - Singapore

IT Service Management Support provides A&O Shearman (AOS) with an initial point of contact for providing first and second line resolution for IT support calls, requests and reporting. What You Will Be Working On

· Elicit citizen/business needs through service journeys and develop business cases via rapid prototyping.

· Develop user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria, building prototypes to validate requirements and measure value.

· Evaluate and recommend technologies (including AI tools), aligning with government's technology directions and WOG central solutions, through hands-on experimentation.

· Identify and adopt appropriate development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) for various environments.

· Ensure system readiness for deployment and analyse the impact of changes.

· Assist the CIO in identifying digital transformation opportunities.

· Define product vision, roadmap, and objectives aligned with business strategy.

· Communicate product strategies and use data to inform decisions.

What We Are Looking For

· Degree in a relevant IT field with 4+ years of experience in IT business analysis, solution design, and testing.

· Experience in at least one full software/product development cycle (Agile preferred).

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and influencing skills.

· Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to engage users at all levels and facilitate discussions

· Proactive, motivated, and inquisitive mindset.

· Ability to code and iterate during planning sessions and conduct workshops.

Preferred Skills:

· Business Analysis certification (e.g., CBAP).

· Past development or consulting experience.

· Experience in Agile, Knowledge Management, or Service Design.

Good-to-have Skills:

· Some exposure to modern web technologies such as React, JavaScript, Python, Java, or .NET (C#) will be an advantage.

· Familiarity with government development tools and CI/CD concepts, including SHIP/HATS, is a plus.

· Experience working with Agile tools such as Figma, Miro, or JIRA

· Experience facilitating workshops, focus groups, and sprint reviews

· Knowledge of data analytics and product metrics

· Certification such as Scrum Master or Product Owner is a plus

· Experience with development workflows using tools like SHIP/HATS, GitHub or GitLab for code management and collaboration

· Experience to rapid application development platforms such as OutSystems

· Working experience with content management systems such as Sitefinity, SharePoint Online, or similar platforms

• Independent Corroboration: Cross-reference client declarations against third-party evidence, such as public registries, audited financial statements, and tax records.

• Risk Assessment: Focus on high-risk factors and material wealth components, ensuring all findings align with Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) standards.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Relationship Managers (RMs) and Front Office teams to clarify deficiencies in documentation and refine wealth write-ups.

• Audit Trail Management: Maintain meticulous records of the corroboration process, documenting the rationale for accepting or escalating specific wealth profiles.

• Continuous Monitoring: Support the ongoing review of client profiles, identifying material changes that may trigger a reassessment of risk levels.

Skills and Requirements

• Regulatory Expertise: In-depth understanding of AML/CFT frameworks (e.g., MAS guidelines, FATF standards) and SoW/SoF corroboration requirements.

• Analytical Mindset: Exceptional ability to synthesize complex financial data from multiple sources to detect inconsistencies or red flags.
