About the Role

Singapore's premier business daily The Business Times (BT) is looking for an enterprising leader to be part of its Visuals Team that drives and implements more visual and interactive storytelling in the newsroom. Requirements

The Team

About The Role

Radio producers are responsible for the audio content of broadcasts via radio, the internet and other mobile platforms. He/she is involved in the entire process, from generating ideas to managing the audience response after a programme.

As a producer you'll manage and work with other producers, show anchors, engineers, socials network team, sales and tech staff. You'll make sure that shows run as planned and that they are tailored to key audience demographics. You may also be involved in the coordination of a sponsored segment or programme.

Responsibilities

● Edit and assemble high-quality visual and audio materials, ensuring consistency, clarity and creative excellence

● Creation of motion graphics for web and mobile video content

● Work closely with content producers/reporters to generate creative content and video/podcast concepts

The Chinese Media Group (CMG) is seeking a highly motivated Performance Planner to join its Branding & Marketing (B&M) team. The B&M section is responsible for co-developing and implementing respective CMG’s products brands strategies, as well as driving effective marketing and communication plans to create strong brand value; these include Lianhe Zaobao, Shin Min Daily News, ThinkChina, ZBSchools, HeyKaki, UFM100.3 and 96.3 Hao FM etc. 

As a Performance Planner, you will be the subject matter expert in omnichannel marketing efforts, especially in driving digital performances, generating brand awareness and engagement, in not only Singapore, but also Asia and global regions. You are expected to:

• Develop a thorough understanding of CMG and its brands’ mission and business goals;

The Administrative Assistant supports the daily operational needs of the Content & Solutioning Division. The role manages high-volume administrative, logistical, finance, and facilities tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This includes providing administrative, logistical, and finance-related support across multiple teams, handling tasks such as travel arrangements, invoice and PO processing, meeting coordination, inventory tracking, cost checking and reporting, and general operational requirements. By taking ownership of essential execution work, the role enables editorial and management teams to focus on content, planning, and strategic priorities.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Finance Support (Data Entry & Processing)

• Raise Purchase Orders (POs) and purchase requisitions using SAP S/4HANA.

• Verify incoming invoices against approved orders.

• Collate and submit invoices to the commercial admin team for processing.

• Create and maintain vendor codes for suppliers.

• Reconcile recurring corporate card purchases.

• Check cost projections and prepare accrual reports for submission to Finance, ensuring completeness and accuracy.

2. General Administration & Logistics

• Manage travel bookings for staff (flights, accommodation, itineraries).

• Monitor office supplies and coordinate replenishment.

• Liaise with building management on repairs and office maintenance issues.

• Coordinate department-wide and interdepartmental meetings.

• Maintain mailing lists and databases (including Emarsys).

3. Asset & Inventory Management

• Track and organise marketing collaterals and branded materials (under guidance from senior team members).

• Manage storage and internal distribution of printed magazines.

• Maintain inventory of event prizes and giveaways.

• Administer bookings for the in-house photo studio.

4. HR Support

• Prepare access passes, desk setups, and information packs for new hires.

• Coordinate the return of equipment and materials for departing staff.

Who we are looking for  

• Experience in administrative, coordination or operations roles preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Zoom.

• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is a strong advantage.

• Experience with database or CRM tools (e.g. Emarsys) is beneficial.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Good organisational and multitasking ability.

• Proactive, dependable, and comfortable handling high-volume tasks.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Attend to phone-in enquiries and feedback on newspaper and magazine subscriptions, promotions and delivery issues
• Guide subscribers on digital publications
• Handle email correspondences
• Manage customer relationship through effective follow-up and appropriate resolutions
• Able to interact with customers on digital support channels in a professional and timely manner

Working hours

• Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm. Overtime may be required on weekdays during the subscription drive.
• Required to work on Saturday or Sunday from 8am to 12.30pm (approximately 3 times in 8 weeks).

Started in 1935, Tamil Murasu is Singapore's only Tamil language newspaper. Tamil Murasu is the main information source for the Tamil-speaking Indian community with its coverage of wide-ranging news, from current affairs to local and foreign news, as well as the latest in sports and entertainment, in addition to its strong coverage on news from the Singapore Indian community and South Asia. Tamil Murasu is looking for a social media specialist to drive the strategy and execution of social media efforts across platforms. The candidate should be a digital native who has a passion for current affairs and understands how best to tell a story that resonates with audiences across different social media platforms.
