We are looking some someone that can create a warm, inviting atmosphere for guests and guide them through a personalised sleep discovery journey. Rather than traditional retail selling, your role focuses on product experience and thoughtful customer engagement.

You will help customers understand their sleep preferences and introduce the products that best suit their needs.

• Welcome guests into the flagship showroom and create a relaxed, premium in-store experience

We are looking for a detail-oriented Product Design Intern to support our product research and design. This role will allow you to be involved in product research, design coordination, working closely with the design and product teams.

If you enjoy discovering new products, understanding design trends, and learning how ideas turn into real products, this internship will give you hands-on exposure to the full procurement and product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and develop creative furniture design concepts.
• Develop furniture designs from concept through prototyping to final production.
• Communicate research findings, design ideas, and design rationale clearly through visuals and presentations.
• Create design outputs including sketches, renderings, and 3D models.

About the Role

As a Frontend Developer Intern, you will work closely with our CTO and product team to develop and improve our e-commerce platforms. This internship offers hands-on experience working on live Shopify and WordPress websites used by real customers globally.

We are searching for an experienced Web Developer who is comfortable programming on the Shopify platform to:

• Create for (a) bespoke development as well as (b) using current Shopify templates
• Convert specifications and mock-ups into fully functional solutions
• Modify and update current sites to incorporate new features and enhance UI/UX design
• Develop and test third-party Shopify applications
• Create and customise Shopify accounts

You should be well-versed in Payment Gateways, Inventory Management, Navigation, and Checkout Operations. As well as distinct perspectives, development experience, and an in-depth understanding of everything necessary to specialize in Shopify Projects.

You will be working alongside our Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Responsibilities

• Create bespoke Shopify themes and change pre-existing templates per pre-defined brand guidelines
• Be an expert in all aspects of the ECommerce platform
• Work with the UX and UI Design Teams to create unique, strong, and inventive front-end user experiences
• Ensure a smooth connection with Marketing Tools, Platform APIs, and Shopify Apps to optimise the shop for overall efficiency and functionality
• Test and debug websites regularly to improve performance
• Based on their findings, they provide technical support and coordination, protecting enterprises against failure

Preferred Skillset / Experience

• A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related discipline
• Broad shop construction, launch, and maintenance expertise, as well as a general understanding of the admin system
• Proven skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, as well as a thorough grasp of the DOM
• Previous experience working with a custom theme and/or the Storefront API
• Working knowledge of Shopify's theming system and Liquid templating
