RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct Patient Care

1. Provide independent clinical assessment of patients and formulate individualized plans of care within the scope of practice for a Registered Nurse and in consultation with the multi-disciplinary team, referring appropriately for internal or external services as necessary.
2. Perform clinical procedures as required for patient care.
3. Perform on-call duties on a rostered basis to provide out of office hours phone call support to patients and escalating emergent cases to on-call doctor as necessary.

Other Indirect Clinical responsibilities

1. Assist Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager in duties including but not limited to nursing consumables inventory, controlled drug storage/tracking and guiding junior staff nurses in performing their duties.

Competency Development and training

1. Completion of required competency training within the stipulated time frame.
2. Track learning hours and proactively look out for learning opportunities to meet development requirements.
3. Assist Nurse Clinician/Assistant Nurse Clinician in duties of clinical audits and clinical supervisions and guiding of junior staff nurses in performing their duties periodically.

Quality Improvement

Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager - Finance & Operations to join our Finance team. In this role, the manager ensures robust financial accounting, compliance, and reporting processes. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity of the general ledger and the accounting systems, responsible for audits, overseeing corporate banking, contract administration and Society’s secretarial matters in alignment with regulatory requirements. The role combines operational excellence with critical financial oversight and integrity, in assisting the organisation in delivering its mission responsibly and sustainably.  This role reports into the Senior Manager – Finance.

Role & Responsibilities

1) Financial Accounting & Reporting:

• Manage full-spectrum of Financial Accounting functions including leading month-end and year-end close processes of Organsation’s financial results and reporting package, ensuring general ledger accuracy with sound understanding of accounting treatment in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SRS).

• Prepare monthly financial statements, review balance sheet reconciliations, and investigate analysis for management.

• Coordinate annual audits ensuring timely and successful completion, preparation of statutory financial statements for audit and other statutory filings (e.g. GST, Annual Returns, other regulatory returns)

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate historical data and trend analysis.

2) Systems Compliance & Controls

• Act as the system owner for the accounting / ERP system (support implementation, upgrade and user training) and ensures system configurations align with accounting policies and operational requirements.

3) Secretariat Matters for Society

• Manage and oversee Society’s secretarial matters and ensuring compliance with statutory laws and regulations, including:

  • Maintain proper records of Board and and Committee meetings, including minutes and resolutions

  • Preparation and filing of resolutions, annual returns, and statutory filings to the Registry of Societies (ROS) and other matters in compliance to Charities Acts via Charity portal

  • Maintenance of statutory registers and company records

• Assist in the coordination of Annual General Meetings (AGMs) and the  and other statutory meetings
  

Qualifications, Competencies & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, ACA, or equivalent qualification preferred.

• Min. 5- 8 years of progressive experience in accounting and controllership, with at least 3 years in a leadership position. Working experience in social service, Charity, NPO is advantageous

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Finance professional to join our Finance team within the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. This role is responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial and management reporting, supporting effective decision‑making and ensuring high‑quality finance service delivery to the organisation.

Role & Responsibilities

1) Management Reporting & Financial Analysis:

• Responsible for month-end close processes and reporting for centres assigned, including journal entries, and account reconciliations, Income statement, identify trends and variances to support decision-making.

• Partner with Controllership teams to ensure consistency between actuals and planning assumptions and monthly reporting are completed accurately and on timely basis

• Support Finance Management in Board and committee reporting with analysis and presentation materials

2) Budgeting & Strategic Business Partnering

Job summary

Oversee MWS projects, ensuring quality, budget, timely delivery, and stakeholder collaboration for functional, sustainable care environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Clinical Duties

• To provide effective Occupational Therapy/ Physiotherapy treatment for clients in the different care settings under the guidance of the therapists and/or therapy associates
• Prepare and set up therapy materials and equipment for patient's/ client’s use.
• Performing prescribed treatments as instructed by the therapists with supervision
• Supervise prescribed exercises or therapy activities.
• Communicate information of therapy sessions to the therapists.
• Document patient’s/ client’s progress and records accurately.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic interventions as instructed by therapists
• Conduct basic or routine group therapy
• Maintain good communication with all members within the multidisciplinary team

Education & Training

• Participate and take on ownership of his/her individual training plan
• Participate in departmental in-service training and other external relevant training
• Participate in research and quality improvement projects

Administration & Operation

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of therapy areas
• Adhere to infection control procedures
• Maintain inventories and equipment for the department
• Provides input and support in work group meeting to enhance quality care to the residents
• Able to identify problems and make recommendations within the department and center

Other Duties

• Perform other duties as assigned by the therapists and/or Head, Allied Health

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant certification or qualification in therapy support
• Experience working in intermediate and long-term care sectors or relevant experience working with the elderly or people with disabilities
• Possess basic computer skills in Microsoft Office
• A team player
• Able to multi-task and work independently
• Positive and client-centered with great interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities

Role & Responsibilities 

1.      Programme Co-ordination:

Provide logistic support for activities and wellness programmes that focus on building the elderly’s self-help capacity including:

• On-site active ageing programmes which may be recreational/social and cognitive in nature, sometimes in collaboration with external providers
• Organising and participating in community events, outings and outreach events, such as door-knocking to engage community seniors

2.      Administrative Duties

-         Maintain a daily register of seniors who participate in activities and programmes at the Centre, for submission if necessary

-         Assist with money collection, issue receipts, maintenance of petty cash and requisition of Centre supplies

-         Provide support to the Centre cleaner to promote and maintain cleanliness of the Centre

-         Ensure Centre maintenance tasks are done regularly, e.g. aircon servicing, LEW reviews, etc.

3.      Volunteer Engagement

-         Encourage senior participation and volunteerism through promotion of senior initiation and implementation of ideas and activities

-         Assist Volunteer Management Executive to engage volunteers to run programmes and activities

4.      Outreach and Befriending Services

-         Conduct wellness assessments of seniors

-         Assign befrienders to provide befriending services to socially isolated seniors

-         Onward referrals to case management executive for service linkage and care coordination, when required

Qualifications, Competencies &Experience

·      Any relevant Diploma in social services

·      Good interpersonal and communications skills

·      Team player

·      Proficient in Microsoft Office
