As an air operation agent, you will be responsible for accepting bookings from internal & external customers, ensuring they have complete and compliant documentation for the import or export of goods.  You will have the autonomy to provide exceptional customer service both internally and externally while applying the company standards and processes to effectively complete import & export requirements.

• Customer Service: You will be responsible for communicating effectively with customers and to ensure a compliant and complete shipment process in a timely manner, documenting customer needs for future use.

The focus of the District Sales Executive (DSE) is on achieving results that are aligned with the overall organization and it's strategic goals. The DSE orchestrates involvement of multiple people in our Sales process, so that new customer revenue is consistently secured for our district office and Expeditors network. Key Deliverables

• Manage an assigned territory and demonstrate extensive knowledge of potential customers and competitors in this area

• Support the transition of new accounts through customer introductions, information transfer, and securing any necessary customer paperwork. When needed, support AR (accounts receivable) collection.

Tasks and Duties

• To maintain a very good relationship with the service providers.
• To maintain always the most updated local port or airport charges, storage and demurrages.
• To maintain always the most updated local transportation charges. • To build very good relationship with the local carriers and co-loaders.
• To requests rates from local carriers, as well as from destination/origin offices and compare the same with Share point and contract agreements.
• To check with customer service persons, salespersons or managers on the profit margin to be added.
• To revert on requests with quotes within 24 hours, if any delay in receipt of rates, an interim email to the sent to the respective person.
• Quotes to be prepared using the Quoting Database or Approved Quote Format as per company policy.
• To keep good relationship with Sales, Customer Service and to collect feedback for each and every quote.
• Updating the Quote Log with feedback for Market analysis. • If rejected, the correct reason must be updated.
• To gather as much information as possible (carrier’s name, transit time, services used) to be able to quote better and get a high closing ratio.
• To run weekly report through the Quoting Database and analyze the information and keep department managers aware of the best carrier to use from the best port/airport.

• To always update the team with the GRI, PSS and rate fluctuations and changes whenever they occur.

1. To provide administrative assistance to Account Management Department which includes but not limited to:

   a. Assist Department Manager & team members for presentation set up including preparing presentation material,  data, statistics.

   b. Preparing quotation in a way necessary to conform to the standard practices and   assist in RFQ.

   c. Assist the team members in different kinds of filing.

2. To assist Department Manager & team members as the ‘Backup’ in handling simple customer inquiries, simple bidding requests, and co-ordinate with the Customer Service teams & Operations teams from different products to resolve simple problems.

3. To prepare cargo tracking report for designated accounts when required, checking shipment status for reporting using ETMS, CFIT, E.XPO, etc.; assist in updating, creating DLSOP for designated account.

The Director – Account Management, South Asia is responsible for leading and overseeing relationships with the Company’s global accounts across the region, Southeast Asia and the South Pacific. This role leads and develops a team of Regional Managers to drive strong customer retention, sustainable growth, and profitability for the benefit of both customers and the Company.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Set the regional direction and priorities for managing Global Accounts, ensuring alignment with global account strategy and company goals.
