Job purpose:

We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled **Structured Credit Trader** at the Associate to Assistant Vice President (AVP) level to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will focus on the trading, booking, pricing and risk management of secured financing transactions, loans and structured derivatives products for the benefits of internal and external clients along with the development of innovative investment products. The role will collaborate closely with stakeholders including Structuring, Sales, Risk Management, Finance and Operations etc.

Structured Solutions Trading: engages in the full suite of credit related products and providing asset and liability management solutions to internal or external clients (yield enhancement solutions, risk management strategies, financing structures as well as delivering balance sheet optimization).

The candidate will also have the opportunity to contribute towards the growth of a credit investment book focused on Asian fixed income investments.

Key activities: 

• Work with the senior trades to price, execute and manage secured financing transactions across structured credit markets, ensuring adherence to risk management guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Run daily tasks including risk management, P&L reporting and analysis.
• Handle trade bookings in a timely and accurate manner and contribute to the development of booking methodologies for new products.
• Execute initial and on-going hedges transactions covering all risks aspects including credit, rates and liquidity.
• Analyse market trends and opportunities within structured credit to identify investment strategies and trading solutions.
• Work with internal teams including sales, structuring, risk management, and research sales to develop and enhance investment products, utilizing structured credit instruments to meet client needs and market demands.  
• Utilize quantitative and financial modelling techniques to support structured credit trading activities and product development.  
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and market developments affecting structured credit and secured financing transactions.  
• Working in conjunction with the Investment Strategies team, assist in the identification, purchase and hedging of potential investment assets and develop investments strategies for the EM Asian credit Investment book.

Formal education:

• University degree in a numerate discipline such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or Physics is preferred but not mandatory

Specialist knowledge (work experience, further qualification):

• Experience in structured credit trading or related roles, with expertise in secured financing transactions and / or structured credit products. 
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in financial modelling and the use of trading tools. 
• Good understanding of structured credit markets and financial instruments including bonds, loans, repos, rates and credit derivatives

Job purpose:

The incumbent will play a pivotal role in ensuring the team’s upholding of strict compliance with anti-money laundering and sanctions guidelines, all relevant/related regulations and internal guidelines. Job purpose:

The 18-month Graduate Trainee programme is designed for recent graduates to gain broad experience in the CC Lending Asia Team in Singapore. The graduate trainee will support members of the Lending team in Asia in originating, structuring, and executing relevant business within the framework of the bank’s strategy. The role requires the graduate trainee to closely cooperate and align their activities not only with the Lending team, but also with other departments and segments of the bank.

(Note: JOLCO aircraft financing is one of the key focus areas of Commerzbank Tokyo)

CoC GIF covers renewable energy financing in Asia with specific focus on Onshore/Offshore Wind, Solar, as well as other green infrastructure assets.

Corporate Lending supports 1) steering new business 2) managing the loan book; 3) assessing risk and implementing hedging and distribution measures as necessary.

SETF comprises of Export Credit and Structured Trade Finance products.

Transaction Management works closely with the deal origination team to manage the transaction execution and perform the post-execution monitoring of the portfolio to maturity.

Job purpose:

The role is based in Singapore and will report into the Head of International Bond Sales in Capital Markets. The individual selected for this position will be responsible for Asian investors and work closely with the Frankfurt / International Bond Sales team. The Bond Sales team is instrumental for risk transformation within Commerzbank and closely aligns with the other Bonds’ key stakeholders, i.e., Syndicate, Origination and Trading as well as with the bank’s Treasury, to develop jointly new business opportunities and synergies.

The Sales department is the distribution arm for both the primary and the secondary trading businesses. Furthermore, it originates risk for Trading and generally serves as the competence center for investor needs with regards to bond products.

Job purpose:

The Relationship Manager Inbound is responsible for the management of client relationships of local subsidiaries of International Corporates in Singapore and in ASEAN assigned to him/her or new relationship acquired by him/her. This includes but is not limited to companies with headquarters being in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, as well as in other countries where Commerzbank has branch presence. He/she is the first contact for his/her local clients to market these clients and cross sell the bank`s product set at client’s CEO/CFO and/or Treasury/Finance Director level. Where applicable, the Relationship Manager Inbound is also required to support the relationship management matters of key clients of the portfolio, which are not directly covered by him/her as Relationship Manager. This will be pre-discussed and pre-agreed with the Relationship Manager and HoCB.

In the Relationship Manager capacity, this role conducts a shared planning and budgeting process for his/her portfolio, in close cooperation with the Lead Relationship Manager (Lead RM) and the other Client Service Team (CST) members of the respective client. In the course of his/her work, the RM Inbound will be guided by the objectives of the bank’s business policy and operate within the existing guidelines, paying special attention to customers satisfaction.

He/she has to manage the customer portfolio in a value-oriented way within the strategic frame given by the respective Lead RM and at all times in a compliant manner. The RM has the necessary and relevant competencies in terms of conditions and credit business, which he/she uses in a responsible manner, in line with the guidelines and risk oriented.

Key activities Overall responsibility for the local subsidiaries of aforementioned international corporate clients assigned to the relationship manager (existing and new relationships) taking responsibility for results and focusing on value-orientated aspects.

He/she will be part of the Client Service Team (CST) together with the Lead RM, the Sector Team (where applicable) and other commercial and investment banking product specialists. Market the bank`s products ("cross-selling") and ensure that all members of the CST have direct access to the local client. He/she shares knowledge and information within the CST.
