• Establish quality control plans, inspection strategies, and testing requirements
• Monitor quality performance through KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead root cause analysis and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions
• Oversee non-conformance, deviation, and Product Quality (PQ) processes
• Drive supplier quality performance, particularly with contract manufacturing partners
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations
• Lead audits (internal, supplier, and customer) and ensure readiness at all times
• Develop and mentor quality engineers, inspectors, and support staff
• Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure quality is built into the product and process

Qualifications& Experience:

• 7–10+ years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing or quality management
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or engineered product environments
• Experience working with customers in a client-facing quality role
• Experience building or maturing quality systems for new or evolving products preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field

Technical /Functional Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO or equivalent)
• Experience developing quality plans, inspection/test procedures, and control strategies
• Expertise in root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies (8D, 5-Why, etc.)
• Familiarity with supplier quality management and contract manufacturing environments
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements
• Experience with quality metrics, reporting, and statistical tools

Responsibilities:

• Assist with inspection of incoming raw materials and components

• Assist with 100% inspections for outgoing products

• Inspect products and identify defective items

• Check products meet quality standards

• Highlight recurring rejects or issues to QA staff

• Follow SOPs and quality checklists accurately

• Perform random or batch inspections to ensure production standards

• Record inspection results and report any issues to the QA staff

• Follow inspection criteria and sampling plans

• Assist in implementing corrective actions for quality issues

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of inspection areas

• Report immediately any safety or compliance concerns observed

Requirements:

• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment

• Ability to use inspection tools or measuring devices

• Experience documenting findings and creating reports

• Knowledge of safety and compliance procedures

• Previous quality assurance / quality control experience

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Basic computer literacy (Excel) for recording inspection results

• Good communication to escalate issues promptly

• Willingness to learn and follow instructions closely
