Job Scope:

• Lead and review the full set of accounts with a small team (3 staff)
• Oversee month-end closing, financial statements, and management reporting
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
• Provide financial insights to guide business decisions and improve performance
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and financial regulations
• Drive improvements in financial processes, controls, and reporting systems
• Work closely with auditors, tax agents, and internal stakeholders

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
• At least 4 to 5 years of relevant experience (construction industry experience is a plus)
• Strong hands-on experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Ability to interpret financial data and communicate clear business insights
• A proactive and detail-oriented team player who can work independently

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Development:

• Sales/Securing of new business
• Identify new prospects, leads and pipelines (including networking)
• Propose the most suitable insurance solution to clients
• Onboarding new clients including placement
• Devise and deliver employee communication plan
• Assist in claims where required (during initial stage of onboarding the new client)
• Identify cross-selling opportunities with other divisions

Relationship Management:

Market Research and Plan Design:

• Identify the insurance market to find best available plans and carriers.
• Design customised employee benefits plans that align with client’s goals and budget.
• Present multiple options and explaining the benefits and drawbacks of each.

Negotiation:

• Negotiate with insurance carriers to secure the best rates and terms for the client.
• Leverage industry knowledge and relationships to obtain favorable terms for clients.

Employee Communication and Education:

• Conduct in-person or online sessions to brief employees on their benefits.
• Provide on-going support to answer employee/HR questions and resolve issues/

Claims Management:

• Assist in claim escalations from HR or employees
• Act as a liaison between employee and insurance carriers to resolve claims issues, if applicable

A Private Banking Team Head or RM Head leads and manages Relationship Managers to achieve sales targets, grow assets under management, and deliver excellent customer service to high net worth clients through tailored investment strategies and effective team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage Relationship Managers (RMs) to achieve key performance targets and sales goals
• Communicate company goals and business strategies proactively to align team efforts and formulate strategic plans

RESPONSIBILITIES

HQ Liaison & Strategic Alignment (Key Focus)

• Global-Local Bridge: Act as the primary point of contact between the Singapore office and the Korean HQ to ensure seamless financial integration and communication.

• Strategic Reporting: Translate and communicate Singapore’s financial performance and market dynamics into actionable reports for the Group CFO and leadership in Korea.

• Global Standards Compliance: Ensure that local financial practices and reporting align strictly with the Group’s global accounting standards and corporate policies.

Strategic Leadership & Planning

• Dual Reporting: Directly support the local CEO(Japan) and Group CFO (Korea) while leading and mentoring the Singapore finance team.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting, preferably within an MNC.

• Language (Mandatory): Professional fluency in both English and Korean.

  • Why Korean is essential: You will be responsible for high-level reporting, complex financial negotiations, and daily strategic coordination with stakeholders and leadership at the Korean HQ.
