Purpose Of the Job

The Regional Station Manager (RSM) is responsible for managing the performance of all stations in South East Asia & Oceania in terms of safety, punctuality, customer experience and cost. 4. Managing South East Asia & Oceania stations income and costs

• Ensures costs are contained within budget targets
• Brings forward suggestions to further reduce costs when opportunities arise
• Monitors and promotes ancillary revenue and lounge income together with concerned stations
• Works with the controller to build up the stations budget and ensures follow up
• Ensures proper invoice handling together with Finance
• Works with procurement manager to (re)negotiate ground handling contracts

6. Station Management Singapore

• Is responsible for up-to-date security, safety and LERAP procedures issuance and application
• Supervises the Ground Handling Agent, who oversees the passengers and aircraft handling process at the station and follows up on irregularities
• Discusses performance of GHA regarding Safety, Punctuality and Customer Satisfaction and the fulfilment of requirements listed in the SLA
• Ensures that aircraft handling procedures are carried out as laid down in the applicable company manuals
• Coordinates aeronautical incidents with local authorities and headquarters
• Is responsible for Catering (if applicable) and Line Maintenance (airline-specific)
• Ensures crew facilities
• Participates in the Airline Operators Committee (AOC)
• Ensures updates of company documents and inform staff and GHA about changes
• May further delegate some or all above local station management functions to the deputy station manager

Requirement

Logistics & Warehouse Operations

• Lead and oversee daily logistics and warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfilment and dispatch activities.
• Manage warehouse space utilization and storage optimization to maximize operational efficiency and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Ensure stock accuracy and compliance with FEFO/FIFO inventory management principles.
• Oversee inventory control activities including stock receiving, stock issuance, cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
• Coordinate with third-party warehouse providers on storage, inventory management and stock movements.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders on incoming shipments, container deliveries and import-related logistics activities.

Distribution& Transportation Management

• Plan, coordinate and optimize daily delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and cost-effective fulfilment of customer orders.
• Manage third-party logistics providers, transport vendors and freelance drivers to achieve service level expectations.
• Monitor logistics performance indicators including delivery performance, transportation costs, inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Support logistics cost analysis and resource planning to achieve departmental objectives.

Process Improvement & Reporting

• Develop, review and implement logistics processes, SOPs and continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, accuracy and service levels.
• Investigate operational issues, identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare logistics and operational reports, providing recommendations to management on cost reduction, efficiency improvement and operational effectiveness.
• Participate in business improvement projects, system enhancements and operational initiatives as assigned by management.

Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with external vendors, warehouse operators, freight forwarders and service providers to support daily operations.

Team Leadership

• Lead, supervise, coach and develop logistics personnel.

Facilities, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, food safety and company policies within warehouse and logistics operations.
• Coordinate workplace safety initiatives, including fire drills and liaison with relevant authorities and service providers.
• Coordinate inspection, servicing and maintenance of fire protection equipment, including fire extinguishers.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and repair activities for cold room facilities to ensure operational reliability and product integrity.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, supply chain operations or a manufacturing environment (FMCG or food industry experience preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management and FEFO/FIFO inventory control principles.
• Experience managing delivery operations, freight forwarders, third-party logistics providers (3PL) and container shipments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office ,particularly Excel, and logistics, warehouse or inventory management systems.
