Job Responsibilities:

1. Participate in the review of secondary distribution P&ID / MLD construction drawings and be responsible for pre-construction site inspections.

2. Responsible for the control and coordination of construction site materials procurement and allocation, including hardware, argon gas, piping materials, and fittings.

3. Responsible for construction progress control, including monitoring daily work completion by contractors and consolidating daily work progress data.

4. Responsible for construction quality inspections, including pipeline alignment and leveling, compliance with drawings, pipe clamps, flow direction labels, weld inspection, and assessing whether additional supports/brackets are required.

5. Responsible for inspection and control of engineering quality to ensure construction work complies with relevant standards.

6. Assist the Project Manager in completing other ad-hoc tasks and assignments.
   
   Job Requirements:

   1. Diploma or above in Engineering or other related technical disciplines.

   2. Relevant experience in construction management for hook-up / secondary distribution systems such as PCW, Pumping Line, EXH, Chemical Systems, etc., will be an advantage.

   3. Candidates with 2 years or more of practical construction experience and familiarity with at least one secondary distribution system construction workflow are preferred.

   4. Fresh graduates with a strong interest in engineering and project management are welcome to apply. Training will be provided.

   5. Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other construction personnel.

   6. Able to work under pressure and handle demanding project environments.

   7. Willing to travel and work at project sites when required

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the systems engineer will provide engineering design, technical configuration, drawing of various telecommunication systems.

He/ She will possess extensive knowledge and experience in Engineering design of telecommunication, safety & security and marine navigation systems covering technologies such as IP Infrastructure, WIFI WLAN, Firewall security, IP-PABX, PAGA, CCTV, VCS, TETRA/DMR UHF/VHF Radio, GMDSS Radio, GEO/MEO/LEO VSAT, IPTV, Radar, Gyrocompass and etc and provide engineering design, technical configuration, proof of concept as well as drawing instruction of various telecom systems.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of engineering design and make a truly access and understanding of client requirement and propose the right solution to fit the specs.
• Produce engineering document (VDRL) and close the client comments in a timely, high quality and accurate manner.
• Produce scratch drawing and guide the AUTOCAD drafter to come out the engineering drawing deliverables.
• Adapt the industrial standard and best practice into the engineering drawing preparation, design, review, and submission.
• Guide the in-house technician for equipment assembly and cabinet integration; implement the system configuration, simulation, testing and verification.
• Conduct factory acceptance testing (FAT) to client and provide in-house training to client as well as commissioning engineer.
• Any other ad hoc tasks required for business needs.

Requirements

Part A - Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Perform internal audits and to ensure organization is in compliance to internal processes and airworthiness regulatory requirements.
• Improve / enhance internal processes through scheduled / unscheduled /surveillance audits.
• Maintain and keep up-to-date Quality manuals and training records.
• Assist and perform external supplier audits.
• Assist in external airworthiness authority and customer audits.
• Follow-up with process owners to ensure prompt and appropriate corrective actions are duly completed.
• Monitoring open audit findings, including monitoring the execution and the intended effectiveness of the actions and the monitoring of corrective action plans.
• Liaise with customers / vendors / suppliers on non-conformance activities, perform root cause analysis and determine effective corrective actions to reduce or eliminate the cost of poor quality.
• Conduct internal briefing / training for certifying staff and technicians as necessary.
• Assist in maintaining the approved suppliers list.
• Processing and monitoring of company authorization renewal and applications.
• The maintenance of quality documents and systems such as QA Manuals and database management of the quality management system.
• Drive and promote Quality and Safety Culture and participate in QEHS and other shop initiatives as necessary.
• Liaise with customers / vendors / suppliers on non-conformance activities, perform root cause analysis and determine effective corrective actions to reduce or eliminate the cost of poor quality.

Part B. Required Experience, Competencies & Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering from an accredited polytechnic (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2-3years’ experience in aerospace quality (management) systems or a quality assurance role.
• Knowledge of aviation regulation such as Part 145 EASA, FAA, CASA, SMS and AS9100.
• Knowledge of and experience with aircraft / component (parts) maintenance.
• Internal auditor trained with auditing experience is preferred. 
• Proficiency with PC tools and software.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Being able to work independently and good analytical skills.
• Able to communicate at all levels of the organization.
