You will be an integral part of a team responsible for managing our customer Enterprise Networking Environment, which supports a large campus with diverse network equipment and services. Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive Network Operations Centre Engineer to support 24x7 managed services operations. This role serves as the first point of contact for clients and vendors, responsible for monitoring alerts, managing service tickets, and ensuring timely incident resolution in accordance with agreed service levels.

The ideal candidate is disciplined, client-focused, and confident in working within structured processes in a high-availability environment.

Key Responsibilities

Incident & Ticket Management

• Receive, log, validate, and diagnose client incidents and service requests
• Monitor alerts, mailbox queues, calls, and chat requests
• Perform first-level troubleshooting and provide first-call resolution where possible
• Escalate issues appropriately based on defined escalation matrix

Service Delivery & SLA Management

• Manage tickets in line with established SLAs and operating procedures
• Provide timely status updates to clients on open incidents
• Coordinate with resolver groups and internal teams to ensure resolution timelines are met

Process & Continuous Improvement

• Identify gaps in knowledge articles, SOPs, and workflows
• Recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency
• Maintain documentation accuracy within service management tools

Client Engagement

• Maintain professional communication with clients and vendors
• Ensure high levels of service quality and customer satisfaction

Requirements

Technical Knowledge

• Familiarity with ITIL concepts and service management practices
• Basic understanding of networking technologies such as WAN, LAN, WLAN
• Exposure to Security, Cloud, Collaboration, or Video Conferencing technologies is advantageous

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma or equivalent qualification in IT or related discipline

• Prior experience in a NOC, helpdesk, or technology call center environment preferred

Senior Network Engineer should have worked with :

• Enterprise level Network Experience

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 Network and Security support.
• Support L2 Engineer to streamline incident calls and ensure service level agreements are met.
• Perform Support to L3 escalations of all network security across Fortinet,F5 Load Balancer,McAfee Proxies,Checkpoint.
• Assist with the documentation of standard operating procedures relating to installations and fixes.
• Act as coach and mentor to more junior Implementation Engineers and Technicians.
• Assume responsibility for the co-ordination of the activities of the Engineers, in line with performance targets.
• Included in higher complexity design work, with input to the design expected.
• Expected to take ownership of relevant technologies according to domain or specialization.

Requirements

• 8 – 10 years of experience in network operations in related industries or equivalent.
• CCIE or other expert level technical certifications equivalent or desirable.
• ITIL®v4 Foundation certification would be an advantage.
• In-depth hands-on working experience with routers, switches, firewalls, ISEs, Load balancers, Web proxies, packet captures, DNS, wireless and etc not limiting to brands such as (Cisco, Checkpoint, F5, Arista,Fortinet, Juniper, Akamai, McAfee, Infoblox, Corvil, Riverbed,
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, GTM, LTM VPN, MP-BGP, OSPF, MPLS, Cisco ACI,SDWAN, Wireless technology; DWDM (ADVA), Multicast, HSRP, Spanning tree, VRF and DDOS.
• Experience with network tools and technologies such as Splunk, NetFlow, packet captures, ServiceNow, JIRA, and SMARTs.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engineering, deployment, and support services for system and network infrastructure across security-focused projects ranging from small-scale implementations to large enterprise environments.
• Collaborate with solution architects to develop and execute optimal system and network designs in both physical and virtualized infrastructures.
• Serve as the technical escalation point and subject matter expert for system security, network architecture, implementation, and operational issues.
• Lead the deployment of new network and system solutions in partnership with project managers, while engaging and coordinating with customers, telecommunications providers, and technology partners.
• Conduct system and network hardening activities, validate security configurations, and maintain accurate baseline configuration and technical documentation.
• In charge ad-hoc maintenance activities, migrations or disaster recovery
• Involve in compliance and audit activities for enforcement of policies, standards and procedures

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering/Information System/Information Security from a recognized institution with 5 or more years of relevant working experience
• Strong experience in Windows, Linux and Vmware/HyperV systems
• Strong experience in Next-Gen Firewalls, VPN, switching/routing, load balancers and proxies
• Experience in windows server domain environment such as active directory, group policies, DNS/DHCP and SCCM etc.
• Hands-on experience in system and network security-related tasks such as hardening, patching, capacity planning and design
• In-depth knowledge in network and systems security
• Experience in scripting, resource capacity planning and system design will be an added advantage
