You'll join the Data Science team focused on grocery and retail services across our region. The team builds intelligent systems that make shopping more intuitive—from predicting what customers need before they search, to ensuring fresh groceries arrive on time. We work with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to turn complex data challenges into practical solutions that serve millions of customers and merchant partners daily.

Get to Know the Role

You'll own data science projects from problem definition through to production deployment. Your work will directly shape how customers discover products, how we predict demand across neighbourhoods, and how we balance supply with real-time demand. You'll architect ML solutions, build predictive models, and deploy services that operate at scale. You'll also guide the team's technical direction and contribute to our research and IP portfolio.

The Critical Tasks You will Perform

You will:

• Architect and deploy agentic AI systems that predict shopping intent and power autonomous shopping assistants—allowing conversational discovery, automated reordering, and personalised recommendations for grocery and retail customers.
• Build spatio-temporal demand forecasting models that process complex signals (transactional, behavioral, and geospatial data) to generate granular SKU-level predictions across multiple time horizons—optimizing inventory positioning and reducing stock-outs and waste.
• Develop supply-demand balancing algorithms that use contextual signals to adjust platform visibility and nudge demand—allowing real-time optimization of merchant and driver supply allocation across neighbourhoods.
• Create predictive models for order lifecycle reliability that identify high-risk orders prone to cancellation, predict fulfillment failures due to inventory gaps, and flag transactions requiring proactive intervention—safeguarding the end-to-end delivery experience.
• Design customer targeting and segmentation models that decode unique shopping patterns to identify underserved customer segments—driving sustainable demand growth through intelligent automated targeting.
• Establish ML production standards by implementing versioning, automated testing, and performance monitoring for ML pipelines—ensuring model reliability and allowing iteration.
• Lead technical roadmap development by evaluating latest methodologies, contributing to research publications, and building intellectual property that advances our AI capabilities in commerce.

Get to know the role

As a Senior Perception Engineer, you will help build and ship the perception stack that turns raw sensor data into reliable, real-time understanding of the world. In our team, all engineers are expected to be hands-on across the perception stack, contributing to shipping milestones through evaluation, debugging, integration, and iterative improvements to perception algorithms and runtime behavior.

To accelerate early progress, you will take initial ownership of perception foundations: sensor integrity, calibration, and the tooling and validation workflows that ensure our perception inputs are geometrically and temporally correct. This work is a direct lever on perception quality and iteration speed. As these foundations stabilize, you will broaden into wider perception development, taking on larger slices of perception delivery over time.

You will report to the Senior Principal Perception & Prediction Engineer.

The critical tasks you will perform

• You will ship and improve perception capabilities across detection, tracking, and multi sensor integration, using disciplined evaluation and failure analysis to iteratively raise quality and robustness.
• You will take initial ownership of perception foundations, including sensor integrity and calibration for our multi sensor suite (camera, LiDAR, radar, IMU). You will build practical diagnostics and automated checks to catch geometric or timing issues early and prevent them from being misdiagnosed as perception regressions.
• You will partner with Integration and Data and Infra teams to ensure perception is reliable in production-like conditions, including logging and replay workflows, as well as performance and latency investigations.

Get to Know the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Software Engineer, Infrastructure (Lead Site Reliability Engineer) to join our robotics platform team in Singapore. You will work with a small, highly experienced engineering group building and maintaining the cloud and backend infrastructure that powers our robot fleet, simulation environments, data pipelines and ML model training/deployment. You will own the reliability, scalability and observability of systems used both in production robot operations and engineering/data science workflows. Initiative, strong problem‑solving skills and an operator-first mindset are critical — you'll proactively identify problems, build robust solutions, and help the broader team run and scale complex distributed systems.

You will report to the Senior Principal Engineer.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Design, build and operate scalable cloud infrastructure and IaC for fleet management, telemetry ingestion, data lakes, model training, and CI/CD for embedded and cloud services.
• Implement and maintain observability (metrics, tracing, logging) and alerting for robot operations, simulation, and platform services.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, postmortems and implement corrective engineering to prevent recurrence.
• Automate operational tasks: deployments, rollbacks, canary releases, capacity scaling, backups and failover.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, ML, and operations teams to define SLOs/SLIs and ensure systems meet availability and performance targets.
• Build and scale data and model training pipelines (batch/streaming), and provide reliable compute/resource platforms for training and inference.
• Harden systems for security, access control and compliance in production and test environments.
• Mentor and grow SRE and platform engineers; drive platform best practices, runbooks and runbook automation.
• Support and improve simulation and mapping infrastructure used by engineers and data scientists.

As the core architect of "Spatial Intelligence" for our last-mile delivery robots, you will lead the R&D of high-precision, robust, and cost-effective SLAM technologies. Your work will directly determine the robot's ability to navigate autonomously and safely through complex, dynamic urban environments (e.g., residential areas, commercial streets, office parks), driving the system from prototype to large-scale commercial deployment.

The critical tasks you will perform

1. Core Algorithm R&D & Optimization (50%)

• Multi-modal Fusion: Lead the development of SLAM algorithms for large-scale, semi-structured environments, focusing on tightly-coupled localization and mapping architectures using LiDAR, Vision, Odometry, and IMU.
• Scenario Robustness: Overcome unique last-mile challenges: filtering dense dynamic obstacles, resolving localization ambiguity in repetitive scenes, ensuring seamless indoor-outdoor transitions, and maintaining stable centimeter-level localization in GNSS-denied areas (e.g., urban canyons, tunnels).
• Cost-Efficient Solutions: Build SLAM solutions optimized for low-cost hardware (e.g., solid-state LiDAR, cameras) and ensure long-term map stability.

2. Engineering Excellence & Deployment (30%)

• Performance Balancing: Lead the deployment and optimization of SLAM algorithms on edge platforms (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson Orin, Horizon J5), achieving an extreme balance between precision and high-frequency real-time output.
• Production Implementation: Refactor code architecture for production; manage memory, power consumption, and coordinate with hardware teams on sensor selection, calibration, and temporal synchronisation.
• Mapping Toolchain: Design and implement automated toolchains for map generation, updates, and cloud management to support rapid operational expansion.

3. Closed-loop Iteration & Collaboration (20%)

• Evaluation & Truth Systems: Build performance evaluation frameworks (using metrics like ATE and Loop Closure success rates) to drive continuous algorithm evolution via data loops.
• System Synergy: Collaborate with Perception and Planning/Control teams to provide high-quality, low-latency pose estimation and semantic map data, enhancing overall motion intelligence.
