Position Summary

• The Production Control Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling all production scheduling, material control, and project progress activities for semiconductor cleaning equipment assembly projects.
• This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth assembly operations, on-time delivery, and efficient resource utilization while meeting quality, cost, and customer requirements. The manager will work closely with procurement, engineering, warehouse, quality assurance, project management teams, Japanese customers, and Japan HQ to coordinate production schedules and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Scheduling

Develop and manage master production schedules for semiconductor cleaning equipment assembly projects.

Coordinate manpower allocation and production loading based on project priorities and customer delivery requirements.

Monitor daily production progress and adjust schedules to minimize delays and bottlenecks.

Issue and control production work orders and assembly schedules.

2. Material Control & Inventory Management

Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely material availability.

Monitor material shortages, delivery delays, excess inventory, and supply risks.

Manage kitting schedules and material readiness for assembly operations.

Improve inventory accuracy and support stock control activities.

3. Project Coordination & Customer Communication

Work closely with project managers and engineering teams to align production schedules with customer milestones.

Coordinate production schedules and delivery plans with Japanese customers and Japan HQ.

Support production adjustments in response to specification changes, priority changes, or urgent delivery requests from Japan.

Participate in regular meetings with Japan HQ and customers to report production status, risks, and recovery actions.

4. Production Monitoring & KPI Management

Monitor and analyze key production indicators including:

On-Time Delivery (OTD)

Schedule adherence

Production efficiency

Assembly lead time

Inventory turnover

Material shortage occurrence

Additional responsibilities include:

Preparing weekly and monthly production reports for management.

Identifying production issues and implementing corrective actions.

5. Continuous Improvement

Lead continuous improvement activities in production planning and material flow management.

Establish and maintain SOPs for production control processes.

Promote Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and operational efficiency improvement activities.

6. Cross-Functional Coordination

Act as the coordination window between production, purchasing, engineering, QA/QC, warehouse, and logistics teams.

Escalate critical production risks and propose countermeasures to management.

Support customer audits and internal operational reviews when required.

7. Team Management

Lead and supervise production control staff and planners.

Provide training and guidance on scheduling, planning systems, and reporting standards.

Set departmental goals and evaluate team performance.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning, production control, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment, precision machinery, automation equipment, or project-based assembly manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment.

Role Overview

The QMS/QA Manager will be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving AITbiotech's Quality Management System in alignment with ISO 13485, HSA (Singapore MDA) regulations, and CE-IVD/IVDR requirements. This is a dual-focus role: ensuring our QMS operates robustly across all product lines while actively leveraging AI-assisted tools to modernise quality processes, documentation workflows, and regulatory intelligence. The successful candidate will be a pragmatic quality professional who understands both the regulatory landscape for in vitro diagnostics and the emerging potential of AI to enhance quality operations.

Key Responsibilities

1.  QMS Maintenance & Continuous Improvement

• Own and manage the end-to-end ISO 13485-certified QMS, including document control, change control, CAPA, internal audits, and management review processes.
• Conduct periodic QMS gap analyses, identify process weaknesses, and drive corrective and preventive action plans.
• Maintain and improve the Quality Manual, SOPs, work instructions, and related controlled documents across all departments.
• Lead internal audits and coordinate external/third-party audits; prepare audit responses and oversee closure of non-conformances.
• Foster a quality culture across the organization through training programmes and quality awareness initiatives.

2.  Regulatory Affairs & Certifications

• Manage and maintain regulatory submissions and product registrations with HSA (Singapore MDA) for IVD medical devices.
• Lead CE-IVD/IVDR compliance activities, including technical documentation, Declaration of Conformity, and liaison with Notified Bodies.
• Monitor changes to applicable regulations (ISO 13485, IVDR, HSA MDA, ASEAN AMDD) and assess impact on existing QMS and product registrations.
• Coordinate with external regulatory consultants and legal counsel on cross-border market access strategies in Southeast Asia and beyond.
• Support product development teams with regulatory input during design and development, risk management (ISO14971), and design verification/validation activities.
• Manage post-market surveillance activities including complaint handling, vigilance reporting, and periodic safety update reports.

3.  AI Integration in Quality Operations

• Identify and pilotAI-assisted tools for QMS functions including intelligent document management, automated non-conformance tracking, audit trail analysis, and regulatory intelligence monitoring.
• Collaborate with IT and bioinformatics teams to evaluate and deploy AI/ML solutions that improve quality data analysis, risk assessment, and complaint trending.
• Develop validation frameworks and procedures for AI tools used in quality-critical processes, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
• Stay current with industry guidance on AI use in regulated medical device environments (e.g., FDA AI/ML guidance, IMDRF frameworks) and translate into internal policies.
• Champion responsible AI adoption within the quality function — balancing efficiency gains with regulatory traceability and auditability requirements.

4.  Supplier & Partner Quality

• Qualify and periodically audit critical suppliers and contract manufacturers; manage approved supplier lists.
• Review and negotiate Quality Agreements with suppliers, distributors, and contract service providers.
• Manage OEM partner quality interfaces, ensuring incoming product quality and supply chain compliance.

5.  Cross-functional Collaboration

• Partner with R&D, operations, sales, and commercial teams to embed quality requirements into new product introduction and product lifecycle management.
• Provide QA sign-off for batch releases, labelling reviews, and product changes.
• Represent the quality function at senior leadership level; produce quality KPI dashboards and trend reports.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

• Bachelor's degree or higherin Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Molecular Biology, or a relateddiscipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experiencein Quality Assurance/QMS roles within a regulated medical device or IVDenvironment.

Role & Responsibilities

In this dynamic hands-on role, you will report to Associate Director of Compliance and Risk and collaborate with cross-functional teams on enterprise risk management and compliance related activities ensuring sound risk and governance across the organisation including areas of overall workplace safety and data protection.

1) Compliance and Risk

• Assist in the development and enhancement of enterprise risk management framework, risk and compliance policies and procedures

• Assist in the development and periodic review of risk appetite statements, risk thresholds, Key Risk Indicators and emerging risks

• Collaborate with risk owners to conduct regular risk assessments; facilitate risk analysis and assessments and propose suitable mitigations when required

• Maintain active oversight of the organisation’s compliance program & calendar and coordinate with internal stakeholders on timely regulatory submissions and reporting

• Carry out regular group compliance reviews through audits, assessment and control testing

• Monitor, evaluate, assess the impact of new or updated statutory and regulatory developments

• Investigate, manage and follow up on matters related to non-compliance incidents/breaches and ensure appropriate mitigations are in place

• Work with the relevant internal stakeholders on the improvement to processes and systems when required

• Collaborate with risk & compliance owners/representatives in preparation of various risk and compliance reports to senior management, Board and regulators (if applicable), highlighting key risk exposures, potential issues, and mitigation strategies

• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of risk and compliance management programs and initiatives across the group

• Act as a liaison between various departments and business units to provide guidance & support and ensure alignment of risk management and compliance efforts

• Design suitable risk communications and awareness programs; prepare materials and conduct regular orientation, training/workshops to all levels of employees

• Take charge and manage incident reporting channel; maintain active oversight on the reported incidents and oversee the effective closure of actions; escalate to senior management and key stakeholders when required

• Organise Risk Management meetings and perform secretariat duties as well as administrative duties where required

• Provide administrative support for the overall audit function conducted by the internal/external auditors

• Attend to matters as assigned by Associate Director

2) Data Protection (PDPA)

• Support the DPO/Associate Director in the review and implementation of PDPA act within the organisation

• Monitor and review PDPA non-compliance and/or lapses and provide solutions and mitigating plans to prevent re-occurrence

• Conduct PDPA updates and training (where necessary)

• Attend to matters as assigned by DPO/Associate Director

Qualifications, Competencies & Experience

• Minimum diploma holder and above in a related field of study

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on relevant working experience in a compliance and/or risk management role including experience in an external or internal audit capacity

• Preferably hold data protection certifications and/or has strong knowledge of PDPA obligations

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to provide sound advice to stakeholders

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) & data analytics and AI tools to support work

• Skills:

  • Good leadership and communication skills, able to empathise with all levels of staff and workers.

  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills and critical thinking to pinpoint issues and ability to deep dive to find the ultimate root cause(s) and measures

  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels across multiple business verticals

A leading financial institution is seeking an experienced Head of Legal and Compliance to lead its Singapore compliance and legal function. This is a senior appointment responsible for shaping and overseeing strong regulatory governance while supporting business growth across diverse financial markets.

· Degree or diploma in an engineering discipline.

· WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health or higher.

· Ministry of Manpower (MoM) Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (at least 10 years post-registration with MoM) and Registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO) with NEA.

· Relevant experience in railway projects (LTA, NEL, NSEWL, BPLRT) is preferred.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or related field.

2. Minimum 10 years’ experience in quantity surveying work including coordination roles, with a proven track record of success.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Involve in the tender/project reviews for all major projects . The cost reports for these projects are to be closely reviewed and discussed with the tender/project teams to ensure accurate and complete forecasting and reporting.

• Focus on uniformity of cost reporting practices.

• Review specifications and contract conditions and propose formulated procurement strategies and contract legal strategies for the tender/pre-contract phase of all major projects

• Audit projects as requested by senior management and provide feedback 

• Assist with project commercial/legal matters

• Assist and collaborate with Financial Planning & Performance, Corporate Planning, Legal (Corporate) and Governance as needed and requested.

• Liaise with all Group Companies about meeting scheduling related to Tender submission review and meeting material submission

• Coordinate meeting schedule for project profit and loss (P/L) reviews (including project P/L feedback/analysis meeting) with all Group Companies.

• Assist to analyse the cause of gain or loss 

• Learn the new cost control system and assist with training all Group Companies’ related staffs.

• Provide guidance and mentoring to QS teams (HQ and Jobsite) to formulate strategies for procurement, head contract management, subcontract management and general administration.

• Provide training and mentoring to project teams in standard procedures, 

• Manage the development of the companies’ project controls system in line with project requirements, with an eye to always improving our reporting capabilities. This will also involve maximizing the efficiency of our project administration practices.

• Participate in Industry forums, training sessions and workshop to keep abreast of the current legislation, codes and contractual trends.

• Comply with all Group Companies’ HSE policies and processes, including innovate and participate in review of corporate policies and processes.

• Communicate and liaise with project teams to ensure all HSE responsibilities are undertaken.
