·       Plan and execute scheduledpreventive maintenance, including OS patching, upgrades, cluster maintenance,and system hardening activities.

·       Perform system and performancetuning, optimization, and capacity planning across standalone and clusteredLinux environments.

·       Fulfil service requests andchange requests in line with established ITSM and change management processes.

·       Manage and support VMwarevirtualized environments hosting Linux workloads.

·       Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external vendors to support operational activitiesand project deliverables.

·       Provide day‑to‑day Linux system administrationand operations support, including participation in 24x7 standby/on‑call rotation.

·       Provide technical input, designreviews, and advisory support for infrastructure and application projects.

·      Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date system, cluster, and configuration documentation.

Required Experience & Skills

·       8+ years of relevant workingexperience as a Unix administrator in on premise setup.

·       Strong technical knowledge andexperience in administration and maintenance of Linux.

·       Excellent communication andstakeholder management skills.

·       Strong background in Unixtechnologies including High Availability and virtualization.

·       Storage admin/SAN technology fromsystem perspective.

·       Familiarity with ITSM, ITIL, orother relevant frameworks is a plus.

·       Proven ability to identify andimprove performance measurement and reporting processes in a largeorganization.

·       Experience of workingcollaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams with a delivery focus in bothproject and operational environments

·       Excellent spoken and writtenBusiness English skills and the ability to write clear and concise text fordifferent audiences.

·       Ability to handle confidentialinformation with tact and sensitivity.
